I'm out of ideas. We never watch tv as a family and it would be lovely to find something that everyone would enjoy. Not war or horror based but open till any other suggestions, old or new. Thanks!

Truman Show, very thought provoking and some funny moments

Favourites here are Erin Brocovich and Shawshank Redemption both have the odd scene you might want the remote handy for but beyond those specific scenes they are both thought provoking films which my teens like.

I would second Enola Holmes and Jojo Rabbit.

Seeing people recommend 80s films also made me think Crocodile Dundee could also be a good choice.

Yes Queens Gambit is very good or Dash and Lily wasn’t bad or karate kid films.
