Woohoo!
I’m getting mine this afternoon, my Mum had hers yesterday, my Dad’s is a week tomorrow. DH was done about 10 days ago (just a sore arm for a day or two)
So excited!!!!

polkadotpixie · 22/01/2021 13:18

I had mine on Tuesday (Pfizer)...felt fine that day and only slightly under the weather the next day (aching arm, very tired, mild nausea and a slight headache) but back to normal by yesterday

HerbErtlinger · 22/01/2021 15:05

So exciting. Mine is a week tomorrow and I'm counting down the days

Deathraystare · 25/01/2021 11:17

Had mine 5 minutes ago at work. Was supposed to have it at the main hospital tomorrow but found out that they were doing it in the unit I work in. I did not know this and someone else told me! I am only on reception, no need to let me know!!! The info was officially sent around today, so my line manager suggested I had it here so I just cancelled the one for tomorrow. Am actually glad because in the main hospital there are loads of people milling around , whereas in my unit we are being more sensible!

So far (touch wood) ok. I felt a shiver but I am facing sliding doors and a couple of people were standing there chatting so I was getting cold air through!

Deathraystare · 25/01/2021 11:24

I had the Oxford one, Astra Zeneca.

mummyof4kids · 25/01/2021 12:26

I had the Pfizer vaccine last night. Feel ok a bit tired and a tender arm, definitely worth it

snowisfallingallaroundus · 25/01/2021 15:55

Congratulations to everyone getting it or who has it. One step closer. Smile

snowisfallingallaroundus · 25/01/2021 15:58

@ioffernothing

Lucky you. Some of us are in jobs where we are at risk and can't get it.

What a mean post. Really nasty.

ThatDamnKrampus · 29/01/2021 13:34

@GeorgieTheGorgeousGoat

I wonder if those reporting side effects could say which vaccine they had, or are the side effects the same for both? Not that I care, I’ll take any!
I've just had first dose of AsteaZenneca today - about 2 hours ago. I have pins and needles in my arm and feel and bit "funny", I don't how to explain it - not a bad feeling, just maybe a little out of it and dizzy?

But anyway, absolutely over the bloody moon! Grin

ThatDamnKrampus · 29/01/2021 13:35

*Astra Zeneca

DowntonCrabby · 29/01/2021 13:39

6 of us, colleagues had Pfizer on Monday of this week. One had a mild headache the next day and everyone had a sore arm for 36h or so, no other effects. Relieved we’re cracking on with the program.

MPForFlydaleNorth · 29/01/2021 14:13

I had the Oxford AZ last Friday, I got a sore arm that night which lasted a couple of days, and the day after the jab I got chills and felt tired but was fine the next day. Got jab 2 in April

vinoandbrie · 29/01/2021 14:18

I love reading these and knowing that there is actual vaccine, going into actual arms, right now. Brilliant, congratulations and well done to everyone getting theirs! šŸŽ‰

peak2021 · 29/01/2021 14:22

Don't worry about crying earlier OP. Something that could save your life or someone else's is worth being emotional about. Real tears not Matt Hancock's fake ones.

Puntosareus · 29/01/2021 14:32

I had my first jab this morning and second one is all booked, just got a sore arm and nothing else so far. I had the Pfizer jab, now looking forward to everyone else having theirs Smile
