Share with me your recent retail therapy.

I bought these fairy lights from Cable and Cotton. I love the glow they've bought to my kitchen.

Just bought the bras!! I'm such a sheep!

myhobby · 17/01/2021 20:03

Space masks! And Toksvig's Almanac. Nice way to start the day

Great thread....

VienneseWhirligig · 17/01/2021 20:04

A massive bag of yarn to make a temperature blanket. Will give me pleasure every day for a year. Also new glasses, they were stupidly expensive because varifocals, but I can see!

WhenTwoBecomeThree · 17/01/2021 20:04

A new electric blanket, so excited for it to be delivered!

Thelnebriati · 17/01/2021 20:06

A lot of yarn, and I mean a lot.

Costacoffeeplease · 17/01/2021 20:06

Oh and a ReMarkable

TartanDMs · 17/01/2021 20:06

Some new masks from etsy

If I've got to wear the damn things I may as well be comfy and stylish Grin

Thunderblunder · 17/01/2021 20:07

A tea cafetière.
I’m now working my way through a bag of cherry flavoured loose tea leaves.
It’s my special treat of an evening when sat on my sofa, in my pj’s, under my new blanket that I got for christmas.

Rubytinsleslippers · 17/01/2021 20:10

A necklace. It's a snow cloud. I never wear jewellery but I just really liked it.

Loved reading these...

Warm sweatpants from Very! For my Friday (virtual) work meetings I had them on with a nice top. No one at work knows how hilarious I looked all day :)

PolarnOPirate · 17/01/2021 20:14

Miniature greenhouse model kit thing (got it for Xmas upon my request, love it) bit niche [[https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/790851210/build-your-very-own-greenhouse-doll?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=mini+greenhouse+kit&ref=sr_gallery-1-1&organic_search_click=1&pro=1&frs=1]]

Pom Pom makers

New curtains, blanket, place mats to spruce the dining room

Just lots of fun bits and bobs really to keep me entertained and make my space nicer.

BrassicaBabe · 17/01/2021 20:14

Ooh, so many lovely things.

Now watching Pottery Throwdown (what has my life become?!😩). I'm now thinking I need a clay house light 🤔

New latch hook rug of a wolf which is just over half done now. Cross stitch kit of a peacock to stitch for my bedroom. An awesome Lego? Cat to build (he’s quite big). Things to amuse me in evenings.
Also took on an unwanted hamster and although meant mostly for my daughter I love him to bits!

CeeceeBloomingdale · 17/01/2021 20:25

Lovely Penhaligon's perfume which I wear with my pyjamas because why not?

Fluffycloudland77 · 17/01/2021 20:26

More white company pyjamas.

Soup maker
Coffee machine

Fatherliamdeliverance · 17/01/2021 20:29

Loads of houseplants, they've really made the place feel alive! There have been a couple.of casualties to the cold but the roots look fine so I'm hoping they will grow back.

MotherWol · 17/01/2021 20:32

A big box of bake at home pizzas from Rudy’s in Manchester; the endless cooking of the last year has become a real grind and they’re nicer and better value than a takeaway shop.rudyspizza.co.uk/

MintyCedric · 17/01/2021 20:33

Aromatherapy oils

Westlab CBD bath salts and Badedas bubble bath

And this...which I actually bought almost a year ago tbh, but it makes me smile every time I turn it on

Gooseygoosey12345 · 17/01/2021 20:35

A hat from Joules. I love it. It brings me great joy Grin I'll probably wear it to death

Walkley18 · 17/01/2021 20:35

@LunaNorth it was Amazon www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07XYXKZKW/ref=cm_sw_r_wa_apa_i_JG1LFb3NMPEDJ?tag=mumsnetforu03-21

Thank you to others for compliments!

InsertRudeWord · 17/01/2021 20:36

@Onedropbeat

For me essential oil candles. I’ve stocked up from a local small maker and they are divine!

As good as expensive ones from department stores but so much cheaper too

I’ve also got some new rose bath oil which makes me feel indulgent

Are you able to say the maker?
HermannlovesPauline · 17/01/2021 20:41

A Yankee Candle scenterpiece wax melter (it plugs into the wall so no flames)

A Swan Nordic espresso coffee machine that makes gorgeous coffee

A garlic keeper. I’ve been looking for one for ages, I cook with garlic so often and get through it quick.

WhyIsMyKitchenSoCold · 17/01/2021 20:48

I love these threads.

  • a white neon star which we’ve kept up after Christmas
  • a 1,000 piece Hieronymous Bosch jigsaw which is going to keep us going for ages
  • a Uniqlo down gilet
  • an air fryer
KatSueCurry · 17/01/2021 20:48

A lovely painting from one of my favourite artists in Chicago, it’s brightened the place up so much.

Cashmere loungewear set. So soft!
