Plane tickets - I’d be a nomad and travel. Don’t think there’s anything else I’d buy masses of.

Cars

I like a lot of different cars and have trouble deciding so I'd buy them all.

TuxedoPantherSheHer · 08/01/2021 08:10

Massages, Japanese journals, pineapple tarta

Ninkanink · 08/01/2021 08:12

Oh yes cars! Very fast cars. And some very luxurious ones.

RaspberryCoulis · 08/01/2021 08:18

Hand-dyed sock yarn and craft kits.

Champagne.

Artisan chocolates.

Have given this much thought.

Buy each DC a house in their university towns, rent out other rooms to their student friends.
Buy ourselves a pretty cottage in Cornwall for long summer breaks. Rent it out rest of the year.
Buy ourselves a pretty cottage in Cumbria for long Autumn/Winter breaks. Rent it out rest of the year.
Hire a daily housekeeper/cook.
Build garden room off the kitchen.
Re-landscape the garden.
Pay off one of my best friend's mortgage.
Buy a miniature French bulldog.
Have my hair cut and coloured at Hari's every 6 weeks.

@SingingWaffleDoggy we are going to have to come to some sort of agreement because I live that chocolate, I need endless amounts of that too.

I’d buy property, holidays and personal trainer to burn off that chocolate I keep eating, I also want my own barista the nice man from my local Costa, he’d live his best life, I’d require a couple of coffees a day then he can be free, I’d look after him well because I’m horrid without coffee.

I’d also help people, get out of debt make their lives better. All the small stuff we worry about having that burden lifted would help even doing a weeks shopping for someone could change their mood

Houses!

Saz12 · 08/01/2021 10:31

Land. Some for garden, some for fabulous glasshouse area, quite a lot for wildlife value, some for public access.
Tulip bulbs (and grit!).
Healthcare and research.
But I guess I’d need to spend something on controlling world population numbers at that point, as I’d own all the land and everyone would be living till 100 and having babies. So an army? I do t think I’ve thought this through...

Fluffy40 · 08/01/2021 10:35

Holidays and watches.

pleasefeedthecat · 08/01/2021 11:45

I would buy some clothes. I can't afford to buy them now and I'm wearing the same stuff over and over. Saying that, I don't go anywhere for anyone to see me, so perhaps loads of pyjamas would suffice 😄

RusholmeRuffian · 08/01/2021 12:54

Socks. Can't be a brand new pair of socks. I'd wear them once, wash them, then donate them to charity. 😆

MyView2 · 08/01/2021 17:48

@Anon22

Anonymous random acts of kindness, for example an acquaintance is trying to raise money for a specific wheelchair for her child. I'd donate to get them to their target.

For me, time with friends and family, having days out, going to concerts, weekends away and holidays. Without having to stick to a budget.

@Anon22 is the raising money for a wheelchair a real cause or just an example? If it’s the former I’d be keen to make a small contribution if you can send me some details?
