Puppies! Guide dogs and other assistance dogs though, I already have more dogs than hands.
Dog toys and beds (I already do this). I’d be donating them to shelters, and funding food, vets, walkers and foster homes and behaviourists for all the less fortunate spoilt creatures with as much abandon and a rather clearer conscience!
Agree with pps that setting up a low rent empire encompassing women’s refuge, young people’s starter homes etc would be well up on the list.
I’d need some more houses for my friends and family, and maybe another for me, big enough to be able to have all my current Christmas decorations up in about five might do it...
Sports, gardening and art equipment, for schools and youth groups and prisons...
If the money was totally unlimited there’d be a board of experts to decide on more practical ways of improving things, but these are the ways I’d most enjoy indulging myself Xmas Grin

Staff :o

Takeaway/restaurant food, probably.

Anon22 · 07/01/2021 23:22

Anonymous random acts of kindness, for example an acquaintance is trying to raise money for a specific wheelchair for her child. I'd donate to get them to their target.

For me, time with friends and family, having days out, going to concerts, weekends away and holidays. Without having to stick to a budget.

borntohula · 07/01/2021 23:22

Food probably and then maybe weight loss surgery.

Blowingagale · 07/01/2021 23:32

The worthy stuff like food for food banks and kit for children in the area that can’t access home learning now due to not having a laptop/internet access. (I have a feeling that even after Covid a lot of great resources will be online or there might be new lockdowns). SEN funding to help get proper support for children that need it and respite for parents/siblings.

For me - earrings
Hand made slippers

One of those decluttering services. Imagine going away for weekend and coming back to all clutter gone. I would not even want to know what they had thrown away. DH just can't throw much away even when clearly old and no longer used. I sometimes go through his old shirts and throw a few threadbare ones out and replace with new without telling him. If I give him new ones he still wants to keep old ones just in case. In case of what? I think it goes back to bring very poor as a child. He keeps books he has read and won't read again. The only way I can get them out the house is to tell him someone like BiL is desparate to read them, no point buying same ones we have I tell him and he agrees and let's them go. The garage is like a jumble sale and I would just love someone to clear it out.

Travel, deli counter stuff and random gifts to random people. I think it would be really fun to see someone who is struggling and just be able to solve their problem. Money doesn’t solve everything but paying their rent for a month or having some groceries delivered or broken washing machine replaced could make a big difference. Some medical treatments the nhs wouldn’t cover and private medical screening for everyone I love. Also I would buy a ton of stuff from paper chase. Lovely matching underwear in the perfect size. Craft stuff and storage for it!

grassisjeweled · 08/01/2021 00:34

Hired help
Cars
Clothes
Education

inquietant · 08/01/2021 00:37

EU citizenship by becoming a citizen elsewhere somehow.

And loads to charity.

And craft supplies, I'd have a whole workshop, with open or glass fronted cupboards, everything arranged like a craft shop Smile

bluebell34567 · 08/01/2021 00:42

on luxurious holidays all the time.

bluebell34567 · 08/01/2021 00:43

of course help the poor as well.

inquietant · 08/01/2021 00:46

Can I also add a home cinema? I don't mean a big telly and speakers, I mean an actual miniature cinema, with cinema seats, projector, popcorn, drinks, curtain.

SingleHandSue · 08/01/2021 00:52

Fresh flowers and smelly candles.

Krazynights34 · 08/01/2021 00:53

I’d open, and run, a massive animal sanctuary (all but lizards may apply).
I’d fund every disabled child’s needs (however large or small) for their lifetime.
I’d pay for lawyers to advocate for better results on sexual assault and rape cases.
I’d try to tempt someone to let me to travel into space for a bit (I’d do the training but I’d probably fail so I’d pay them to pump me full of steroids or whatever)
Create a perfect home away from where I now live for my disabled DD and my dogs
Lots of fine wines and Belgian chocolates (Swiss Tony)
As many cold cribs as hospitals in the Uk need and counselling for bereaved parents.
Silent fireworks for celebrations
A landscaped garden that I can manage (to dig big holes in).
Accommodation for victims fleeing domestic violence that isn’t shit
For me (just me) FUCk loads of halloumi and an hour to myself every day

JanuaryJonez · 08/01/2021 00:55

Probably second and third homes in hot (and AirBnB friendly) locations.

Amammi · 08/01/2021 00:57

Fancy scandinavian axes

boxingdayclearout · 08/01/2021 07:34

Covid vaccines to supply worldwide, and donating money towards their research. Get this rolled out as quick as possible.

YouJustDoYou · 08/01/2021 07:38

Stays in my favourite but utterly unaffordable.hotel.

kowari · 08/01/2021 07:41

I'd buy a 3 bed house, adopt two more cats, and buy posh food like fresh raspberries and sourdough bread every week.

alecguinnessgenuineclass · 08/01/2021 07:43

Antiques
Perfume
First class air travel

Kndg · 08/01/2021 07:46

Dogs
Fresh flowers
Handbags
More dogs

Ninkanink · 08/01/2021 07:49

Handbags, coats, boots, scarves. Clothing in general.

Books, art, sculptures, antiques.

Jewellery and beautiful things.

Horses, dogs, animals.

A home in Denmark, and a summer house as well.

A home in Bournemouth.

A home in the med.

I would also find something fulfilling to do with some of my time.

Bilgepumper · 08/01/2021 07:51

@Lockdownlovernotfromliverpool

Dogs and horses..
Yep, I would open rescues for them and create jobs as well.
