Mugs. I don't buy them, I get given them as presents. Over the last few years I've been given lots with cheers messages on. I accept I might be hard to buy for but I'm worried that my friends and colleagues can't attribute anything to me other than "miserable fucker who drinks a lot of tea".

Daffodils. I always go berserk with the bulb catalogues, like a child in a sweetie shop. Then every autumn the boxes arrive and I find myself digging hundreds of little holes, usually in inclement weather and always cursing myself.

Then spring happens, and it’s an absolute joy, and I win trophies at the horticultural show.

And I go berserk with the bulb catalogues again.

Plastic containers not helped by all the pandemic Deliveroo!

Stick on nails - buy a good glue and even cheap primark nails are great. But stopped wearing them in March to help with hand hygiene.

Clothes - maybe it's just because right now I only wear jumpers, bug socks and leggings or joggers. My wardrobe just feels full of clothes I don't use.

Nappies!

I am a foster mum who specialises in withdrawing babies and babies with complex medical needs so I have a cupboard full of nappies in every size.

Well I get a delivery from who gives a crap of 48 at a time so I do have loads at the moment. But I do use it all eventually and it runs down to a pack worth of rolls. But I'll admit to it guilt free!

Bras, and like a pp, I only wear 10% of them.
Cookbooks. About 30 I think.

Lipsticks - 50+ at last count. I'll never use them all up.

Bras - 30, all different sizes that I'll never be again, but they're soooo pretty!

Fancy underwear. I wore crap kecks for years, last year i lost weight and toned up and chucked out all my grundy undies. Now i wear something gorgeous under my clothes every day. It makes me smile.

Woolly hats, with and without bobbles.

Mugs and cups.... we have around 90 of the little fuckers. There are 4 of us living here

Dog collars and leads......... there is a bag for life filled with them under the stairs. And yet I still buy more......... and they can only wear 1!

Perfume. Last count was 12 bottles...... all 100ml ones. I'll never use it.
