Anyone felt pregnant INSTANTLY and got bfp?

Hello all!

I am currently 4dpo and on my 7th cycle ttc.

I must be mad but I find the 2ww incredibly exciting and am fascinated by the miracle of conception.

I actually don't have any pregnancy symptoms yet but I wanted to know if any of you ladies have instantly felt pregnant and just knew straight away? They say it's impossible to experience pregnancy symptoms until implantation but I strongly believe you surely must feel something before implantation because it's still such a huge thing for your body to experience! Also the body just produce hormones as soon as the sperm fertilized the egg.

I have never been pregnant but my mum.said she instantly knew when she conceived me and she said sickness started within 2 days. My wife has also carried our 1st child and we also knew that she was pregnant before she finally got a bfp at 11dpo. She had sickness from about 5dpo and was extremely crabby let's just say... she's usually so happy and chilled out so deffo not herself. Our wee boy is now 2.

What are your stories? I find it all so interesting! Have you had any weird symptoms as well??

Can't wait to hear all your stories :)

I commented earlier in the thread because I am one of those who experiences very early pregnancy symptoms. It’s interesting to me when people describe it as confirmation bias because I experienced the symptoms in my own body and I felt very different. Four times I knew I was pregnant and I was - no other times did I think I was pregnant and then wasn’t. The symptoms were unusual and clear cut. It wasn’t normal PMS. I respect everybody else’s opinions and I don’t think I’m more in touch with my body than anybody else. I just don’t know how to explain it!

Confirmation bias my arse. I've been pregnant 5 times (x2 miscarriages) and known 100% for sure each and every time. My boobs ache like crazy and I can literally feel my uterus inside my body. It feels hollow and I feel it taking up space and energy. I know it sounds woo, I'm not at all woo really. Each time I've said definitively I'm pregnant and then had a positive a week later. On the flip side, I've never thought I was pregnant and not been, and two of those pregnancies were accidental whilst on contraceptive pill for one and condoms for the other so I had no reason to even think I was pregnant. It doesn't matter what science says about it, my body tells me otherwise

Totally agree!! When my wife was pregnant with our 1st we just knew. She was so different. She had iui treatment so maybe it was a but psychological but to throw up on the bus when she's never had travel sickness before pregnancy and never had it since says it all really. This must have started about 3/4 dpo. She also had many other symptoms that were so unlike any other times. She was extrmely irratable when shes never been like it before between o and af. Her breasts were also very tender and swollen early on too. It's possible she may have implanted super early though??? It's so interesting how everyone and every pregnancy is so different!

Of course there's another side to this too... Some people have no idea they are pregnant. My mil was 5 months gone before she found out she was carrying my partners brother. She was still having regular periods! Full on periods I mean every month throughout the pregnancy. So science would say that's not possible But a very real 37 year old man is living proof that anything is possible when it comes to pregnancy!

Yes straight away in the first month on both occasions despite being 35 second time around. I had only started ttc the second one because I believed the stuff about it perhaps taking ages as your fertility declined so I ended up with children much closer apart than anticipated.

longcoffeebreak · 07/01/2021 14:14

And I know that I was pregnant I could just feel it.

Vinceypie · 09/01/2021 09:43

Am I going crazy or is there a second line there?? I'm only 8dpo...

I've had four and first symptoms for me was a missed period and then got other symptoms. However with my fourth baby I just got a gut feeling I was and tested a few days before my period was due, not really expecting it to be positive but it was.

Xanthezoo · 09/01/2021 13:04

Yes, I’ve been pregnant four times and each time felt immediately afterwards that the deed would be successful. I’m not normally woo in the slightest, but ‘felt’ each time that I would be upduffed and I was.
I never felt this any other time🤷‍♀️
It’s like a PP said, it was before sperm got anywhere near egg and probably confirmation bias, but it ranks among the weirdest and most inexplicable experiences of my life.

Less woo- I always had raging thirst during my tww when I was pregnant too.

Vinceypie · 10/01/2021 18:02

Hey guys! Hoping someone might help me here. So I'm now 9dpo. I've had no symptomms up until the last 3 days... starting on 6dpo I had lower back pain with mild cramps and weird almost shooting sensations in my uterus area. I've also been extremely tearful and emotional. It feels very similar to how I normally get the day before my period is about to start but my period is still 5 days away so seems a little too early for pms??? I've also been having palpitations on and off all day since 6dpo and hot flushes and feeling dizzy. My boobs aren't sore though and no change in cm. All of this could of course be down to lockdown and having a lot more time on my hands to notice every little thing but I do not feel myself at all. I done a test yesterday at 8dpo and it was a bfn.. pic is above... I hope other ladies can help with what they had during their 2ww :) thank you!!

Yes I fell pregnant immediately with my third.

My implant came out and I got a positive test 13 days afterwards.

ItsNotGreenItsBlue · 10/01/2021 18:46

😂😂😂😂😂😂

Vinceypie · 11/01/2021 15:24

10dpo and my palpitations won't stop! It's been days now. Has anyone else had this during their 2ww? I've never had this ever before and I don't know if it's hormones or something I should be worrying about....
