Tell me, oh mothers of teenage boys...

Where on earth do you buy them pyjamas?

Ds is okay with stripes or plain colours, also tartan style pj bottoms. Have I missed pyjama season or something? I can’t find them anywhere in age 13. White company (not my usual shop but I’m scraping the barrel of all the shops I know) has some suitable but only up to age 12. Do boys stop wearing pyjamas when they enter their teens? I have looked on John Lewis, m and s, Boden, joules, h and m, Tu, and I can’t think of anywhere else. Help!

Abercrombie & Fitch - the kids site has a few sets for teens. Or bottoms in the men’s section.

DS wears Primark jogging bottoms and a t-shirt. He decided they were nicer for lounging around in.

Gap do 100% cotton bottoms checked or striped worn with a T shirt
Seem fine for teens/young adults
Always a 40% off offer somewhere

I got my DSS both some plain basic ones from primark in XS. They fitted perfectly and didn't break the bank x

Groovinpeanut · 02/01/2021 22:44

I've got 7 lads of varying ages and sizes I've always been able to get XS through to larger sizes from Sainsburys, Asda, Tesco, Matalan and M&S

Starlightstarbright1 · 02/01/2021 22:45

My ds had some for Christmas from primark and M&m

scubadive · 02/01/2021 22:46

Next then Tesco small men’s.

MustDust · 02/01/2021 22:48

Primark, no one sees them and both rarely wear the top anyway. One is 5'7 and wears a small mens, the other is 5'3 and wears an extra small. Both are skinny and they fit fine.

toobusytothink · 02/01/2021 22:49

Hollister are good

LynetteScavo · 02/01/2021 22:50

I don't buy him pyjamas. He sleeps in shorts (sweat pant type) and cheap t-shirts from H&M

bartymao · 02/01/2021 22:50

Men's ones here as he's over six foot

QueenofLouisiana · 02/01/2021 22:52

DS (15) doesn’t wear them. If forced into it (sharing a room, camping etc) he has some cotton shorts from Primark I think.

Inastatus · 02/01/2021 22:53

Hollister x small men’s

elliejjtiny · 02/01/2021 22:54

My 14 year old wears clothes from the mens section in asda. I find mens small is fine when they grow out of 13-14.

Dartsplayer · 02/01/2021 22:58

I had to buy my son's on Amazon cos either I couldn't find anything he liked or the ones he did like weren't in his size

KittyMcKitty · 02/01/2021 22:59

Jack Wills

Notsoaccidentproneanymore · 02/01/2021 23:01

Ds2 (nearly 19) still wears his M&s boys aged 15-16 pj’s. Even the one with small yachts on! (But only at home). He says they’re soft and comfy.

But they aren’t always in stock. They’ve obs worn well too.

Notsoaccidentproneanymore · 02/01/2021 23:02

He only wears the shorts the ugh as he gets really hot

Notsoaccidentproneanymore · 02/01/2021 23:04

He even wears short pj bottoms when he’s at Uni. Heys seeping in boxers is uncomfortable as they’re too tight.

He’s all about comfort though. And softness. Colour not important, just texture and feel.

Pieceofpurplesky · 02/01/2021 23:05

DS 16 jogging/lounge bottoms - fave are the supersoft m and s or next with a T shirt of choice and a giant hoodie

Notnownotneverever · 02/01/2021 23:05

The Tu/Sainsbury’s adult sizes come up small so I bet they would fit even if your DS hasn’t had a growing spurt. I bought my son XS and they were too tight and he is very slim indeed.

JellyNo15 · 02/01/2021 23:06

Both my DS s preferred to sleep naked by the time they were teens. They wore joggers and t-shirts around the house until they went to bed.

Runnerduck34 · 02/01/2021 23:11

13 is a difficult age, often a black hole of clothing and shoe provision, neither child or man! !
Next do pyjamas online ( but not in store ) for that age as do m&s.
Other than that Topman do xs and s that usually fit boys of that age.
My son didnt mind checked pyjama bottoms with plain coloured t shirts but preferred black or blue checks rather than red which he thought looked a bit old man!
He also wasnt above star wars/ call of duty type pyjamas.
Get your son to choose and if he cant be bothered he cant complain what you get him

ThatsNotYourPassword · 02/01/2021 23:14

Haven’t read it all. I buy from Next. Once they grow out of boys pyjamas- you can search on men’s xxs size - and they fit. The in between stage is a pain (I have three boys)

itbemay1 · 02/01/2021 23:56

Next men's S are nice
