I rarely have any time to myself but do today, and fancy watching a good documentary.

Don’t mind what it’s about, just want to watch something really interesting and engaging. Really like Louis Theroux and Michael Moore but have seen all of those.

Have Sky, Netflix, Amazon and Apple+ & Disney+ (probably very un-mumsnetty to admit to having all of the subscription services isn’t it)

Can I have some recommendations please?

The Ripper programme is meant to be good.

My Octopus Teacher on Netflix is amazing!

The Lost Honour Of Christopher Jeffries is based on fact and worth a watch. He's a retired teacher iirc, who was falsely accused of murdering his neighbour, Joanna Yeates.

@Monkeytapper

I usually watch crime documentaries but know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea so I won’t recommend any of them.

This was also interesting/feel good. Also on Netflix

I LOVED this! I’m a big fan of ultra films and books though, not that I have or ever could run one myself.

Currently binge-watching this. It is similar to 'The Knick' but better I would say. I am enjoying hearing German with English subtitles.

Loving On pointe on Disney, thanks for recommending that.
Which service is abducted in plain sight on please?

Last Breath on Netflix - real life account of a man that gets stuck on the ocean bed. Compiled of all the real life footage - completely gripping

Don't F*ck with Cats on Netflix - another completely gripping documentary about tracking an Internet killer. Does contain some footage of animal abuse although the worst is edited out

Making a murderer on Netflix- an unbelievable story - but true. Have only watched series 1 but it is jaw-dropping stuff!

The Vow
Seduced -inside the Nxvium Cult.
Both about the MLM self help organisation Nxivm which was a cover for a sex cult.
The smallville star Alison Mack was involved with it.
Gobsmacking!
