Wtf?

I feel like Toulouse Lautrec! That’s really out of proportion, isn’t it?

Ffs coloured and cankles

grassisjeweled · 01/12/2020 17:45

Not to incite sarcastic comments, but you measured your inside leg how?

boomshakey · 01/12/2020 17:57

I'm tall, inside leg of 34". If it makes you feel better I look dreadful in skirts & tops & need tops to be long as I also have big boobs so am like a short cube with extra long limbs.

boomshakey · 01/12/2020 18:00

30" is average so all good OP.

LunaNorth · 01/12/2020 18:01

@Takethewinefromtheswine

I'm exactly the same height and crap leg length, OP. One of my life's great sadnesses. They aren't even thin. Short, chubby kneed, corned beef colouring massive candles and size 8 feet. My mother once kindly suggested that I spent too long in the boob queue and God had to give me the leftover legs.
Gotta love a blunt mum Grin

Badly, I think.

I got DH to go from groin to ankle.

Then to floor.

The results are still coming in. Maybe my legs are telescopic?

@BlackAmericanoNoSugar

What's your driving position like? We had an au pair who was quite tall, taller than me by at least a couple of inches and I'm 5' 6.5". She used to drive my DH's car, and one day I needed to use it after she had been using it and I could barely get myself into the seat as it was so far forward. Up until that moment I hadn't noticed that her legs were short. It did occur to me that it can't be all that safe to be right up against the steering wheel when it has an air bag, but I suppose the need to reach the pedals is more important.
I have my seat quite far forward. I tell myself it’s because I had long-legged children, but they’ve long since grown up, so that excuse doesn’t wash any more.

Do you have a long body?
Or a neck like an alpaca?

Exactly motorcyclenumptiness! I was imagining a Karen Hill tribe member with stumpy legs. I'm the same OP. 5, 9 with 30 inch legs. Dsis is 5, 6 with 32 inch legs. No fair. Toulouse Lautrec is funny though...

Fucket · 01/12/2020 19:47

I have 33’ inch legs, a short body, big boobs and no neck. I remember trying on neck braces in a medical first aid course and having to have mine on the ‘no neck’ setting. Every single coat I own zips up to my nose, and the hood when I wear them flops over to meet the top of my collar and I can’t see at all.

I have to wear low cut tops to try and make it look like a have a longer neck. I’m literally a pair of big boobs perched on two long legs.

CuteOrangeElephant · 01/12/2020 19:47

I'm 5'9" with 34" legs and according to my DH I am as graceful as a baby giraffe Grin

Porgy · 01/12/2020 19:50

I'm 5'1" and have an inside leg of 27". I think I have short legs and a long body. I never need petite tops/jackets but I always need petite trousers. Even dresses aren't too bad if they're short. Maybe I just have short calves?!

bluebluezoo · 01/12/2020 19:51

This is no help whatsoever but your post has really given me the giggles! I’m so tickled by the Toulouse Lautrec reference

What’s so funny about a disability and possible genetic disease?

Mrsfrumble · 01/12/2020 20:03

I’m 5’ 10” with a 34” inside leg. My brothers are 6’ and 5’11”, both with stumpy (relative to their heights) 30” legs. As teenagers on family car journeys I always had to sit in the middle of the backseat because I was “the smallest”. I’m surprised I didn’t get DVT, having to fold my gangly limbs up while they got to man-spread with their penguin legs. The injustice!
