My inside leg is 28" and I'm 5 foot nothing! I don't even have especially long legs! Sorry, OP, your post made me smile I'm sure your legs are probably a lot skinnier than mine though. Swings and roundabouts eh!

5 foot 6 and my inside leg is 29 inches. I have a long torso too. You are measuring to the floor not to ankle which is what my sister thought you did as that's the length of trousers

Ha ha Me Too! Short legs. Long waist. On the plus side I do have a good waist and a lot of leggy people are straight up and down or apple shape which also has its downsides. I do very much envy people with good legs though. And if you have good legs they’ll always be good - unlike good boobs which I had but no longer due to gravity

What's your driving position like? We had an au pair who was quite tall, taller than me by at least a couple of inches and I'm 5' 6.5". She used to drive my DH's car, and one day I needed to use it after she had been using it and I could barely get myself into the seat as it was so far forward. Up until that moment I hadn't noticed that her legs were short. It did occur to me that it can't be all that safe to be right up against the steering wheel when it has an air bag, but I suppose the need to reach the pedals is more important.

I’m a bit like this, 28inside leg and almost 5’7. I can’t remember the exact measurements, but a few years ago I was being fitted for a bespoke bike frame and everyone involved was very confused at what I needed

I sometimes try on dresses with a very fitted waist and become painfully aware that it will never be a look for me.

DH and I both have 31 inch legs but he's 3 inches taller than me.

If you want to be a competitive swimmer, shorter legs won't hamper you!

My BIL is 6ft 2 and has 30 inch leg, very long body. Never noticed it until he said it.

I'm short bodied and envy those whose waist is in the correct position. I spot nice tops in the likes of fatface and the waist is always where my hips are and I have to put it back. No idea what my legs are but I'm only 5'3" altogether so don't think it matters to anyone.

Well my height seems to vary between 5'6 and 5'7,but unfortunately my legs don't seem to grow longer

If I measure to the floor, mine are 33 inches 😱. I just measured my 11 year old daughters legs, and hers are 31 inches, she's 5ft 1, no wonder everything is too short on her

I'm 5ft 10 with a 34 inside leg and am quite slim, and I'm here to tell you it's a right royal pain. NOTHING is long enough. The honourable exception is Uniqlo ultra-stretch jeans (I have several pairs in several colours).

I also have a short torso and look like a giraffe in cropped jackets or jumpers.

5ft3" and 31". I too look a bit like a giraffe gone wrong in heels. I don't generally wear them, my ankles look and feel like they may snap.

OK, so you and your DH have both measured you groin to floor and your results are 3" different ?!

I'm exactly the same height and crap leg length, OP. One of my life's great sadnesses. They aren't even thin. Short, chubby kneed, corned beef colouring massive candles and size 8 feet. My mother once kindly suggested that I spent too long in the boob queue and God had to give me the leftover legs.
