Do you enjoy watching cookery shows?

I like watching them -only if nothing else is on.

I like James Martin and Mary Berry.

But Nigella, Jamie Oliver and Nadya, they’re too much. Too many ingredients, nothing basic.

And why do cooks drown food in so much olive oil?

I maybe old fashioned and prefer my gran’s cooking🤷🏼‍♀️

Quite enjoyed this Bake Off after having given up on it years ago, but only because there isn't much to do in the evenings at present.
And I did catch myself watching Fanny Cradock at Christmas the other day. But mostly I think they are for people who never actually cook!

I don't but accept each to their own and if others choose to watch, fine by me.

Ooohh just remembered how much I used to live The Two Fat Ladies
“This is basically an old bird, dowsed in wine”

and Hugh F-P in the placenta pâté days!

I just can't watch Hugh Fearnley-EatSItAll after he cooked up a load of slugs.

Yeah.

Slugs.

And he just boiled the slug slime off them and rinsed them. There is nothing he won't eat. He goes out of his way to cook up the grossest parts like the jelly from in between a pig's trotters or some shite like that. Envy (Not envy)
