Costume designer for period dramas or a theme park set designer, like proper theme parks, not UK ones.

SingingWaffleDoggy · 21/11/2020 18:13

Forensic pathologist Blush little bit odd I know!

ScrapThatThen · 21/11/2020 18:14

I'd like to set up a not for profit outdoor activity centre and community orchard. I would employ lots of experienced instructors and encourage courses for kids and adults from all walks of life and volunteer participation. Lots of climbing, tai chi, horse riding.

Gotthetshirt23 · 21/11/2020 18:52

National Geographic photographer

Gotthetshirt23 · 21/11/2020 18:53

Although could I be Charlotte Dujardin and ride Valegro ?

SimonJT · 21/11/2020 19:09

Fully accessible gym owner.

GlowingOrb · 21/11/2020 19:11

I’m going to assume the dream job wand provides a good salary because otherwise I could just quit my job and follow my dream tomorrow.

I would like to be an artist.

FredtheFerret · 21/11/2020 19:13

Lots of fab ideas.

I'd like to do something crafty. Upcycling one off pieces of furniture.

Or Antiques Dealer/Auctioneer.

Lampzade · 21/11/2020 19:15

Stylist to the rich / famous / wealthy.

Misandrylovescompany · 21/11/2020 19:29

If money was no object I think I’d like to be an art historian.

My job usually gets mentioned on these threads too. It IS more fun than real work, but I still get itchy feet sometimes.

Lardlizard · 21/11/2020 19:38

Of course the wand provides your dream
Salary as well, how much would you like 🤣

Paid 30 million a year and no human interaction except the odd email once or twice a month. I would just read, research, type or maybe design jewellery or fashion. Send it away to people that do all the boring parts.

RosamundePilcher · 21/11/2020 19:43

Interior designer.

LemonBar · 21/11/2020 19:45

So jealous at posters with realistic dream jobs. How the fuck would my dream job ever come true... 😭

WitchesBritchesPumpkinPants · 21/11/2020 19:48

Retired on a massive pension.

Lardlizard · 21/11/2020 19:49

Lemon what would you do with your 30 million per year ?

Hawkins001 · 21/11/2020 19:51

running my own ebay, business , headquarters in a large warehouse, then on the side, a travel photographer. (if money was not a factor)

Bluewavescrashing · 21/11/2020 19:51

This has just made me realise how lucky I am because mine would be my actual job pre-covid measures which have taken all the joy out of it. I’m a teacher.

Me too.

bearlyactive · 21/11/2020 19:52

Either a professional singer or a dog groomer

BecomeStronger · 21/11/2020 19:52

I had to do this as an ice breaker on a course once. Every single other person got it and did something amusing like ice cream taster or backwards skydiver and I prepared something ernest about working with disadvantaged children. It's funny now but it was awful at the time.

LemonBar · 21/11/2020 19:55

Dc in private school, staff like cleaner, chauffeur, and cook in daily, massive lovely house in an expensive area, country estate, beach home, lovely cars, luxury holidays, charity donations, jewellery.. i would save and invest. I just wish to be want for nothing when it comes to money. I actually visualised 500 mil a year but then felt embarrassed and greedy so dialed it down Grin

Lardlizard · 21/11/2020 20:00

Lemon 🤣🤣oh I can see how you could spend that amount quite easily then !
Yes I like your choices
