When did you last go to the dentist?

Realised today that DCs and I haven't seen a dentist since Summer 2019! Were meant to go in March but didn't happen!
When did you last go?

20th December 2019 or thereabouts. One of my teeth sort of fell apart so as a nice Christmas treat to myself, I had to get it rebuilt and filled and all the rest of it. I have various health conditions which mean that while my teeth are beautiful and white and straight (thanks years of braces as a teenager) they are equally a bit pathetic and weak so I do need to go back again really. I’m too fond of them (and too vain) to let anything else happen to them 😂

2 weeks ago, due to a bridge breaking and falling out.
Should be back tomorrow for the repair but DD has passed her snotty cold to me so I've emailed them to let them know and reschedule

Ah yes thank you for the kind and not so kind nudges to get this sorted, the thread was a good reminder to try again, as none of us seems to ever have any dental issues it is something that does get pushed to the bottom of the list. I have called all 7 dentists in my town this morning, none of which are taking on NHS patients although 2 have allowed us to join a waiting list.

December 2019, due to go in July and we had no contact but website says emergencies only.
I rang last week to ask what the situation was, only to be told our dentist has "chosen to shield" and they would prefer us to wait to see her. No idea when she'll be back. The other dentist is working and we can see them if it's urgent.
I wanted to get dc2s teeth checked for an issue, can only be seen in school hours.
It's not filling me with confidence.
