No. Absolutely nothing.
Currently we are in lockdown, we hope to be released in early December but that's not guaranteed. And even if we are, we still need to be careful in order to not cause another spike in covid. I have an underlying condition which means I would likely have problems if I got covid so I have generally been restricting my movements since March.
My main intentions would be to keep meeting my Cub Scouts in small groups outdoors (I am a Leader), to get into my office a couple of times (I have been WFH FT since March and only been in to the office about 8 times, most of those necessary for dealing with Parliament), and to visit our DPs and DSiblings over the Christmas break (they are 2.5 hours away, we won't go for 25th, but have only seen them twice all year in person).
In terms of making sure Christmas itself is special, we can do that without going out to "events", although it would be good to get to mass over the season. We will have a nice meal and family quiet time (as even with Covid, we have continued to work extended hours at home and DD has continued to do a lot at school and her sports so needs chauffeuring around to sports training - so quieter time has not actually happened for us).
But we will not be going to pubs, out for big meals, major socialising, shopping during peak times etc.
Instead we will keep going for family walks when we are not otherwise busy, meet smaller groups of friends for coffee (or maybe mulled wine) outdoors when it is allowed, and have some nice treats and good books to be able to enjoy some quieter time. And going to see family when that is allowed.
