Having a go at me in the middle of the night, saying you’ve been snoring for over an hour and
deliberately tossing and turnin really loudly ina. Very over exaggerated way
to try n wake me up and going to the toilet noisily

I’ve already said he need to get some ear plugs and I’ll wake him when the alarm goes off

Oh my god, sleeping next to a snorer is torture. You need to try and do something about it, and show some sympathy to your DH.

That’s true I could put a mattress in another room

I might buy another new mattress too
We only recently got a new one

Bit ott some of these responses. Poor man has to put up with this for 2 weeks and OP is being slaughtered by some. Pretty sure there are millions of women suffering from snorers over years and years that are expected to 'use earplugs' etc. No one should have to put up with it long term but give her a break.

There’s nothing worse than lying awake for hours on end next to a snorer. You’re expecting not to be woken by his frustrated moving about but you’re happy for him to be kept awake by your snoring. I get that you can’t help it because you’re asleep but he needs to sleep too! I think if you’re keeping him awake with your snoring, you need to expect to be woken by his frustration.

The snoring mouth guard completely stopped my husband it was bliss. They are fairly cheap on Amazon.

@MustardMitt

Doesn't have to be a spare room though. Sofa bed in the living room? Extra mattrass in the utility room/office/garage/hallway/whatever. There are lots of options nowadays. Single chairs that change into single beds, beds that fold flat into a cupboard style thing horizontally or vertically. Coffee tables that fold out to a single bed

Those are only options if you have the space. Plenty of people don’t.

No space to have a sofa? Where do you live?

OP it’s good that you’re open to fixes for your snoring; sleep deprivation is used as torture for a reason. I hope you find something that works.

DP is an occasional snorer. His solution involves earplugs for me. My solution involves a leg of lamb and a new patio.
