mine are all grown up and have no gc. love the random things that small children get upset by, like a banana peeled wrong.

ShinyGreenElephant · 28/10/2020 16:01

I wouldnt let her use my bank card to pay for everyone else's shopping at the self service tills. She threw herself to the ground and wailed

Blerg · 28/10/2020 16:05

My son (4) saw a child with a walking frame at school. He’s really upset I won’t get him one. He’s asked if he can have a walking stick instead. He has no mobility issues.

CrunchyNutNC · 28/10/2020 16:15

Being offered mayonnaise.

Unalome · 28/10/2020 16:17

Desperately upset here because I wouldn’t pass him an orange for him to eat.

I was peeling it for him

YouCantBeSadHoldingACupcake · 28/10/2020 16:24

Because I wouldn't get him a drink. He was holding a drink at the time

MrsPerfect12 · 28/10/2020 16:24

I put his milk in the blue cup instead of the green cup that he didn't say he wanted. He always prefers the blue cup.
I put up the Halloween decorations and I've to take them down again that caused an epic melt down.
I washed his blanket.
It's been a tough day 💙😂😂😂

Lunariagal · 28/10/2020 16:26

Asd child age 11.
Now has a headache after spinning round too much on his new computer chair.

NoNameIdeas · 28/10/2020 16:26

Was last night but he had a complete and utter meltdown because I wouldn't let him use the entire roll of toilet paper after he'd done a wee....

TheGriffle · 28/10/2020 16:28

I’m just placemarking for when mine gets home from nursery later. There is nothing more unreasonable than a tired 3 year old!

RosieLemonade · 28/10/2020 16:31

We had to leave soft play which was closing.
Her dad wouldn’t tell her who was on the phone. It was John. From his work. Who she doesn’t know.

MrsPerfect12 · 28/10/2020 18:44

@TheGriffle a four year old?? 🙈😂😂😂

Stradivari · 28/10/2020 19:02

DD2 put a chew on the floor to give to the dog. The dog ate it....

smeerf · 28/10/2020 19:09

DS1 is nearly 3 but struggling with the appearance of DS2 (5mo) which has made his behaviour quite... Challenging.

Today he was devastated when:

  1. I took the loo roll off him to stop him unrolling the whole thing while sitting on the potty.
  2. I wouldn't let him go to his friend's house (tier 2), we met them in the park instead.
  3. While cooking dinner, I offered him a piece of raw carrot. When he declined, I popped it in my mouth.
  4. I left the room as he was trying to slapme in the face.

My 2 year old wanted to watch the wiggles. They were already on tv. I picked the remote up and asked her if she wanted to watch something else. She flung herself on the floor screaming and kicking. TV went off, obviously.

She offered the dog her sippy cup and he licked it.

She had to put her jumper on to go outside.

She was taking 2 minutes per step on the stairs, stopping to point at every picture on the wall. I lifted her up a few steps. Her world ended.

sweetheartyparty · 28/10/2020 19:14

My almost 4 years old daughter was absolutely furious with her wee this morning. She insisted she didn't need one before going out but we persuaded her to try. She doesn't like being proved wrong

Ewanispurple · 28/10/2020 19:24

Today's epic meltdown was because I cleared out my purse and chucked all of old receipts in the Bin instead of giving them to him Confused

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 28/10/2020 19:37

My 7yo was devastated about our house renovation plans. We are planning on removing the bath and putting it a good powerful shower. She likes a 'relaxing bath' occasionally. (The majority of the time we all have showers)

LiveFatsDieYoGnu · 28/10/2020 20:10

He ate the food on his spoon, cried because it was gone, then cried harder when I tried to take the spoon to put more food on it. It's so hard being a baby!

CigarsofthePharoahs · 28/10/2020 20:20

Well my six year old is stinkingly angry as he wanted to play hide and seek, so his big brother has duly hidden.
Ds2 can't find him. Apparently this really isn't fair.
I still remember ds1's best tantrum. He was two and wanted a yoghurt. I brought the yoghurt and I'd already put the spoon in it. This was Very Wrong. So I took the spoon out and this was Even More Wrong. So I took the yoghurt away. The screaming got worse so I brought it back but that made it even worse.
He screamed for probably half an hour over a spoon.

TotallyKerplunked · 28/10/2020 20:29

Because he broke his babybel cheese trying to get it out of the wax (offering him a new one made it worse). The cat wouldn't let him sit on him, he got the yellow marble when playing hungry hippo's, he ran out of ketchup at dinner. Weirdly he loves shopping and saved all the tantrums until we got home.

lachy · 28/10/2020 20:37

DD - 4 and a half. She's gone to bed declaring to me that "I'M NOT YOUR BEST FRIEND MUMMY!"

I have bought her a Halloween costume for her holiday club party, but wouldn't let her put on the temporary tattoo's because it was bed time, nor would I let her sleep in her costume.

I buttered her toast wrong.
Didn't cut the crusts off.
Wouldn't let her sleep in my bed.

I've just basically got on her nerves since 4 o'clock.

oh well.

APurpleSquirrel · 28/10/2020 20:40

I turned on Dino Dana which DS (2) asked for - this was wrong because it wasn't Paw Patrol.
I took his helicopter off him in the bath to get him out of the bath. He laid face down in the drained bath & cried whilst the helicopter was in view on the side.
DD (6) because I gave DS the helicopter (which was DDs & had found whilst moving her room around) which she hasn't played with for YEARS & it was now THE ONLY toy she ever wanted & had been looking for it forever Hmm

Lostthetastefordahlias · 28/10/2020 20:43

Ive had a clock sat on the shelf for ages waiting to be put up - today I finally got round to hanging it. This was not AT ALL acceptable to DD (2)

bumbledeedum · 28/10/2020 21:48

Wouldn't let my 20 month old eat batteries. Terrible mother Hmm

FallonCarringtonWannabe · 28/10/2020 21:51

My TEN YEAR OLD cried yesterday because i asked her what she wanted for lunch and she didn't know.
