mine are all grown up and have no gc. love the random things that small children get upset by, like a banana peeled wrong.

Oh God where to start. These are just today:

I wouldn’t leave DS (8 months) whilst he was eating and come and fix her robot
I wouldn’t let her have a lollypop at 9am
I made her get into the car
I made her wear her straps on her car seat
I made her return a crayon that she had stolen from a friend
I wouldn’t let her wash every inch of body with the shower gel “but I haven’t washed my tummy yet mummy”. (She was definitely clean)

Although she did tell me I was her favourite mummy at bedtime, so at least I’m top of the pack! 😄

My 4 year old dd spent ages looking at clothes on the H&M website and adding to the basket all the things she liked . She wasn't very happy when I told her that I wasn't ordering the 331€ worth of stuff she had picked !

I love this, her wee face!

That she can’t stand up to wee but her brother can!

9yo (ASD) screamed then yelled from the kitchen that his brother hit him.

His brother was standing next to me, upstairs in the bedroom.

The real problem was that the remote control is missing. But it's easier to fake sibling bickering and hope your brother gets in trouble.

The best one was the fake bite when DS1 was 6. DS2 is not a biter. DS2 had a full set of teeth unlike DS1 and the deep bite in his arm Grin

I had the joy of spending the afternoon with a 3 yo a few days ago, and we went for a stroll. Stopped to watch squirrels racing up, down, and around a tree. 3 yo remarked that we would have lots of fun when we were squirrels. No tree would be off limits. We would bounce along with our soft, furry tails flying behind us. We would sit up and hold food to nibble with our two front paws. We would have squirrel names, not our person names.

I saw him again today. Late in the afternoon while he was reclining on the couch with his sippy cup and his cuddly toy he sighed deeply and said, 'We're not squirrels yet'.

I wouldn't let him play with a chainsaw
