Tell me your zombie Apocalypse plan

Hi, inspired by me currently rewatching The Walking Dead I wondered if anyone has thought what their plan would be if the zombie apocalypse were to happen.

Where would you go first, what would your weapon of choice be, would you join a group and what role do you think you'd play?

With a small child, dog and only access to kitchen knives I don't think I'd personally get very far!

We would head to DHs workshop. Its at the end of an industrial road, train tracks (all fenced) one side and a river the other so out of the way with some barriers. The yard is all fenced in with cctv. We have tool boxes full of weapons and a fully stocked tea and biscuit cupboard.

On a darker note we would leave doggo behind, she's a yapper. But she'll quickly be alpha female of a feral back of other dogs from the cul de sac. And DS is a diabetic, so we would have to rob a pharmacy of insulin before all the other type 1s get there.

Dh escapes with the dog and the cat, and I stay behind for the zombies to eat me, in hopes of delaying them. I can’t run or even walk fast enough to escape.

Or, to sum up - my plan is to be bait!

I’m just going to lock myself in my high rise flat and wait for Covid to do it’s thing.

I’m going to steal a reasonably big lorry and drive to the centre for alternative technology in Wales. On the way I will rustle me some farm animals and break into a chemist to steal lots of antibiotics and inhalers.
I don’t have any access to weapons so would have to allow some crazy people in who were tooled up.
We would build a secure perimeter and use the little hill railway as access.

Prep. Hunker down. Wait for them to move out of urban areas. Find a safe place in the country and dig in. Learn to shoot. Defend the homestead. Grow food.

DH would be rubbish as he'd try to understand them.

I would go onto the Preppers board (or one of the I-am-not-a-panic -buyer-but-a-prepper-coronavirus-threads), identify a poster or two and steal their supplie . But of course the internet would be down, I assume ?

I've got my (hypothetical) eye on a cruise ship. I reckon cruise ships are the way to go.

People would be the biggest risk.
Current house isn't suitable - bloody heating is oil!
So I guess spend thousands over the next few years on solar and wind power, build a panic room and hydroponics in the roof to grow food that can't be seen/stolen by people
