Deary me.

Birthday party

Police turned up kicked them out. They then went round and egged and floured the neighbours house who they suspected of calling the police. Egged neighbour then back to party house and kicked off.

I just love the drama Mick!

LOVELY gav and Stacey reference!

Burnthurst187 · 18/10/2020 10:57

How old are they, twelve?

AcornAutumn · 18/10/2020 10:59

They suspected some poor soul of calling the police?

The neighbour should have minded their own business.

Really can't stand this snitching on neighbours.

Porridgeoat · 18/10/2020 11:12

The stupidity of the party goers knows no bounds

So you think it’s ok to cause property damage just because you suspect someone of reporting you for breaking the law?
tearstainedbakes · 18/10/2020 11:16

I wasn't engaged with this till the Gavin and Stacey reference. Brilliant.... now I want to know more

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 18/10/2020 11:16

I feel for her and I'm not saying she deserved it (when i say this) im just giving the facts, that's what happens to snitches. Its all fine and dandy group of posh bell ends telling us to snitch on our neighbours while they're protected living in their fancy houses, but It's not going to be them getting flour and bricks thrown at their windows, is it. Also lets not sugar coat things there are some people sick and twisted enough to not think twice about pouring petrol through someone's door, never mind flour.

What are you a child? That’s what happens to snitches?? Is that what you teach kids, you snitch on people you get hurt or property damaged?
Fantastic.Hmm

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 18/10/2020 11:19

I bet the police were there in 2 minutes flat. Have they not got bigger things to worry about ie rapes and murders ect

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 18/10/2020 11:21

I'm just saying that's what happens. I haven't said its right or wrong.

FTMF30 · 18/10/2020 11:21

I feel bad for the neighbour if they weren't actually the ones who'd called the police.

Waxonwaxoff0 · 18/10/2020 11:23

It's not OK to do that to someone's property. But this is why you mind your own business. Who wants the hassle over a party?

FairfaxAikman · 18/10/2020 11:26

"Mind your own business"

It's everyone's business when we all have to suffer lockdown/restrictions longer as a result of idiots who think the rules don't apply to them.

rainbowninja · 18/10/2020 11:27

I think if you have a medical reason to be shielding or are indeed following the rules to help stop the spread of the virus it would be pretty annoying to see others blatantly flouting the rules.

The police can prioritise for themselves if they have the resources to attend this kind of thing.

CtrlU · 18/10/2020 11:29

I personally would have shut my curtains and minded my own business

If your neighbours want to flout the rules and get sick - let them.

Focus on you

Which would be fine if all the neighbours and the party goers didn't interact with anyone else. But if they transmit Covid and spread it round the neighbourhood, then it does have an impact on OP.
ancientgran · 18/10/2020 11:48

I think some people have been watching too much EastEnders, "We don't grass" "I'm not a grass" etc etc etc.

NeonGenesis · 18/10/2020 11:49

I haven't heard of someone egging a house since I was a teenager. Kids used to do it the night before Halloween.

My neighbours and I have suffered constant noise and sleep deprival because of the party house down the road. Quite frankly the ban on parties has been an absolute godsend for us.
Gfplux · 18/10/2020 11:50

Nasty party goers oppressing those who have common sense.
I would call the police about the egg and flower attack.

LastGoldenDaysOfSummer · 18/10/2020 11:51

"Snitches"? Are there children on this thread?

The party idiots didn't even know for sure who it was. Pathetic behaviour.

In situations like this where people are angry and stressed they tend to default to black and white thinking and knee-jerk reactions, unfortunately this means shoot the messenger and snitches will get stitches☹️ It's wrong, we should always aim to be civilised, but civilisation is a thin veneer👀
iklboo · 18/10/2020 11:52

Not if you're a fucking adult.
