Do you have a Masters degree? What's it in?

I am playing my second favourite game this evening (after the Rightmove game) of looking all the different Masters degrees on FindaMasters. Some of them sound so interesting.

@BikeRunSki

My MSc was the most intensive and rigorous of my qualifications, and the year I did it, very hard.

I’d been doing the job for two or three years before going back to uni to do the Masters - I thought it would be hard but coming from regularly working 10 hour days it wasn’t as challenging as I was expecting (apart from bloody rock mechanics - so much maths).

Loved doing the dissertation though - especially as I suggested a topic my supervisor had never even heard of. Got quite a neat paper out of it too.

Some of these sounds so interesting. Much more so than my Accountancy and Finance MA

MRes in Cancer.

I was fortunate enough to work in a group focusing on a specific gene, its expression and variants in breast cancer that I was also interested in.

I was offered a funded PhD with the same research group (and PI), but had to turn it down due to family circumstances.

Whilst I made my decision for the right reasons, it's one of my biggest regrets.

OP we have the same hobbies Smile

I have a postgraduate translation qualification but not strictly a Masters.

Would love to do an MA in Medieval Studies!
