I quite like sausage with cheese and pickle

Someone I know likes peanut butter and marmite together

Philadelphia cream cheese and raspberry jam.

Smooth peanut butter & pom bears

Banana and tomato. Tomato needs a sprinkle of salt.

Thick white bread, lots of really cold lurpak, and prawns, with a little salt on. Amazing.

Have you tried the Waitrose butter with salt crystals in? It's a proper treat but so nice, especially on warm baguettes 👍🏼

My dh likes cheese and honey sandwiches.

Multigrain bread
Spread one slice with a very thin layer of miso paste
Top with a layer of peanut butter
A layer of sliced tomatoes, nice ripe ones please
A layer of lettuce - the soft round type, not iceberg
Second slice of bread

It's absolutely wonderful.

Cheddar cheese, thin slices of raw onion and brown sauce. Cracking!

Cream cheese & apricot jam.
Goat cheese & black cherry jam.
Gorgonzola and chocolate spread.
Banana and dulce de leche.
Cream cheese & truffle honey.

Prawn and grated cheddar cheese on white bread.

Crisps and butter

Cheese and pickle or cheese and coleslaw but without the bread (that's what makes it weird)

Peanut butter and tomato or cucumber (not sure if that's weird or normal. It's what i had in my lunch as a kid).

Stilton, cucumber and salad cream

Sweet chilli kettle chips and Mayo.

This is not a strange sandwich! This is a god of sandwiches!

Syrup and marmite. I had to be persuaded but I’m a convert. Some lovely suggestions here!

Tea cakes or currant buns with butter and ham inside

Ham sandwiches with salt and vinegar crisps inside

DH has mashed potato sandwiches

Sliced apple and salad cream
Cold sausage and mango chutney

Mushy peas sandwich with mint sauce
Super noodles sandwich
Spam and salad cream

Dirty sandwiches have to be on white bread!

Peanut butter and mayonnaise

A coffee shop near my Uni invented this and it’s been my favourite ever since:
Tuna mayo, Brie, chorizo, jalapeños in a ciabatta, squished in a toasted sandwich maker.
Have to limit my intake now I am getting older though - a couple of times a year treat!

Shanninth, tell me what you think! The marmite cuts through the sweetness of the syrup. You won’t find it on any healthy living menu, though...

For me it's either thick white bread, real butter and dulse (seaweed - I'm in Ireland, not sure if this is available elsewhere) or peanut butter (has to be crunchy!) with Nutella. And a big mug of tea with loads of sugar.
