And even more amazing, she’s been seen in my local area.

There are so many videos on my local Facebook group but this is the best photo of her so far (yes it’s female)

It’s amazing thing as it’s only the second one to ever be spotted in the U.K.

Isn’t she beautiful?

She's been spotted today crossing the channel so fingers crossed she gets back safely. Have to say I'm quite sad she didn't stay here in the Peak District. It made my summer watching her

Can't blame her for looking for warmer air!

Ahh this is lovely. Like @Drogonssmile the fabulous vulture display at Muncaster Castle gave me a lot of respect and affection for them. Wonderful birds.

Safe travels, Vigo!

I photographed another rare (but not quite THAT rare) migrant bird today - red-backed shrike at St Mary's Bay in Kent.

We think we saw her , after she was spotted in Dereham , and then seen near Peterborough a few days later . We were driving across the fens near Wisbech , and DH pointed out what he thought was a big honey buzzard , only to realise as we got closer , that the bird was a LOT bigger than we thought . A few days later , we saw in the EDP that she was near Peterborough, so it might have been her !
