My mother is much closer to DS than DHs, despite them both living close by.

@SarahAndQuack Thank you. Yes its really sad. There is no reason for them doing so, no fall out, nothing. Its been over 4 years since DH died and I went through a lot of anger and upset in private due to PIL not being bothered but now I've accepted it and it doesn't affect me much anymore. The way I see it is they are choosing to lose out so leave them to it x
