How do you pronounce Bury in Lancashire ?

I don't live in the the UK. How do your pronounce the name of the town Bury please ?
Is it like to bury (a corpse) ?

From Manchester and I say Berry but most people from there say Burry.

Also, it's Greater Manchester. Hasn't been Lancashire since 1974. Or something. Anyway, only old people still claim it's Lancashire, but in reality, it isn't.
