I bought my 15 year old son a t-shirt, without asking. I chose it. He not only declared it to be "poggers champ" Hmm but he hugged me and said thank you!
It's a miracle Grin
What was this shirt I hear you ask?
Plain black shirt with the immortal words "Country roads, take me home" printed on the front Grin

The Toto one was definitely on Stranger Things > desperate for S4 to come out

Yeah and it's been featured heavily in a couple of other popular films from the last 2-3 years. For some reason it's going through a seemingly random surge in popularity in Hollywood right now.

My 6 year old DS isn't dry at night yet. Last night he had a huge leak and woke up to a wet bed (he's got a loft bed so not easy to change). Instead of waking me up, he stripped his sheet and mattress protector, took his duvet cover and pillowcase off and put it all in the washing machine. He then had a wee and a wash then came and snuggled in with me (I'd woken up by this point hearing him moving about) and told me what he had done 😍😍😍

Country Roads is from Fall Out and Kingsmen. My two know the original John Denver as I force them to listen to a mad mix of music Grin also Grandma's Feather Bed in payback for it's raining tacos

Yes TikTok has revived a few old songs which is very fun

Bob Ross, also a TikTok thing. Everything you're all saying has been revived on TikTok.

I'm allowed on there apparently even though it makes me feel old at 25.

Feck I’ve failed my teenagers. I’ve told them we are having baked potatoes for dinner and it is going to be ‘poggers champ’ and the three of them just looked at me blankly ConfusedConfusedConfused

I have three sons. The eldest breaks into the John Denver version of country roads at any given opportunity and poggers has been used in the house for a while, not poggers champ though .. might try it and see if it gets a reaction 😄

Africa by toto has been a meme for years. Way before Tik tok and stranger things were about.

Wow, Country Roads was a staple of any after-pub session or lock-in sing-song back in the day. Always with some smartarse changing “west Virginia” to “west vagina”- totes hilaire, never gets old at all. Can’t believe this song is cool now.

OP can I ask, how does the sizing come up? My DS has decided he wants this now, but he's kid of between the sizes. He's 11 and very skinny, but about 152cm so wearing age 12-13 in most things now. I don't want to get him the largest size if it's going to drown him or come down to his knees as he'll refuse to wear it then, but worried the next size down might be too small?

DS was into this song a while ago

He is always a little dis-chuffed when he realises his old folks already know any songs he gets into

The seller is called whammy-bar-originals - I can't link, am on an ancient kindle.
Size is small, I looked at the size chart and it said 2XL is 44-46 but it only just fits AS who is 6'3 and a 38-40 chest. Luckily I have learned over the years of online shopping, and always buy big.
