🚨 (Light hearted thread alert)

I HATE prosecco- it’s horrible- it’s tastes like fizzy piss. (No i’ve never tasted urine before but this is how I imagine it would taste)

I also hate crisps. They are the opposite of cake- mmm cake.

Mrs Browns Boys is not funny whatsoever. I tried to watch a few episodes but my eyes started bleeding.

I hate watching people dancing. It’s boring. I do not understand why Strictly is so popular.

Schools are Victorian, and teach capitalist conformism. They were set up to feed the dark satanic mills of capitalism. We should rethink the whole concept of them.

Remote learning online is sufficient for children with an interest in learning. For those without there should be really good, long-term apprenticeships.

Now is the time to look for different solutions to educating the young.

And university is a waste of time and money and rips off most students. Only about 2% are interested enough to enjoy it.

Baptisms and any other form of forcing minors into organised religion should be banned. Fine if they attend church etc but all ceremonies should only happen when they're adults.

There was a thread this week about private vs state school. A few posters said they want their kids in private school to get away from sen kids. You know what? You are everything thats wrong in this world. How friggin dare you think you are better than my kids. At least your child has the opportunity to get qualifications, live independently, my kids wont. I hope your snobbishness comes back to bite you on your backside

GP's: Massively over rated, do bare minimum, complain endlessly about everything - and rarely is a 'good' one to be found.

And as for the GP retreat during C19. Invisible shirkers with license to do little.

Sad but true. GP's are and outdated concept. There was a time when GP's did lots of things, like attending accidents, difficult births, did minor surgery, and did duties at hospitals (some even had a small "ward" attached to their surgery). Now it's a basic desk job. We need continental style clinics instead of GP surgeries so people can actually get treatment locally.

I also hated being a Stay at home mum because of the negativity and ' what do you do all day ?' digs. I did plenty!
When I worked full time it was the same though.
Other women can be complete cows and make you feel bad. the sisterhood' does not exist really it's just the judging that grinds me down.

@Jojobythesea mine is children doing accents, particularly American accents, and even more particularly in Annie or Grease.

I hate the McMillan coffee morning because every year I pick unwisely and get the piece of cake that looks yummy, but is actually an iced piece of cake coloured breeze block.

But my latest ire is reserved for the National Bastarding Trust, particularly at Stone Henge where they try and rush you for a suitcase full of money when you can just walk up to a different side of the fence and see it for free.

Paving your entire driveway (unless there’s really mitigating mobility / disability issues) should be illegal. It should be mandatory to have a certain percentage given over to plants or grass.

I think the trans debate has turned into a total nonsense between two extremes in which all the reasonable discussion in the middle gets howled down by both sides.

I don't think mental illness is the same as a broken leg and I think sometimes trying to think positive and force yourself to get on with it can be really useful.

I think Tony Blair was underrated and has an unfairly bad rep, considering all he achieved.
