Booked in to have a 55 minute hot stone massage and wondered if anyone had had one before and how you found it?

Regarding pricing for massages. £1 per minute for a massage I’d consider at the cheaper end. The more luxury resorts and central London hotels would be around £2 a minute.

A few years ago I trained in Spa therapy. We offered hot stones as a treatment ( yes even the little ones between the toes) some of the therapists I trained with went on to work on cruise ships/premium spas and we had paying clients which came in weekly for reduced price treatments.
Not sure how all this will work with covid but always worth checking out local colleges or such places to see if they offer Spa.

The price I quoted isn’t London and it isn’t a spa. It’s a provincial high street beauty salon.

When they’re good they are AMAZING.

But you do need an experienced therapist and that can be trial and error.

I've had reflexology before and it did literally nothing for me at all. I'm paying closer to the £2 per minute that's for sure! Seems on the pricey side to me but I don't mind a splurge now and again. And I'll honestly pay good money to remain pain free as i currently am right now!

I'll look into osteopathy too for the future. Chiropractor didn't sort it at all - one session of physio put me on the right road

Yess. Loved it. The stones melt knots and tension away.
