I would say Joey on Friends

OP posts:

Kid Curry from Alias Smith and Jones.

Unfortunately I went for the original Hannibal Hayes - I remember unexpectedly reading in the newspaper 'Duel dead'.Sad (I don't remember particularly reading the newspaper when I was 11, I suppose it caught my eye)

SelkieQualia · 09/09/2020 00:52

I go through one every few years - usually when my life is stressful.
David Tennant's Dr Who
Patrick Jane from the Mentalist
Tom Ellis's Lucifer
And the really odd one - Spock.

Helocariad · 09/09/2020 07:52

Another one fir Aragorn and Lord Peter Wimsey.

IamTomHanks · 09/09/2020 07:57

Soooo many.
Current is: Gustav Skarsgard's Merlin
Previous are:
Chris Evan's Captain America
Sebastian Shaw's Winter Solider
Alexander Skarsgards Vampire Viking Eric
Adam Drivers Kylo Ren...

So, so many

A lot of these aren't fictional characters though, they are just good looking actors. I prefer the characters that I can create in my mind - so book characters who've never been filmed. I remember seeing the first LOTR film and looking at Strider and thinking 'really?' The Aragorn in my head was very different to the one in the films!

Maybe we should have a thread for PURELY fictional characters!

Up to a point - I doubt that people who do find Aragorn in the films of LOTR attractive would necessarily find Viggo Mortensen appealing in some of his other roles, for instance.
Helocariad · 09/09/2020 13:17

True, I don't think I like Viggo Mortensen in anything but the Aragorn role.

RuffleCrow · 09/09/2020 13:22

Currently Ross Poldark as played by Aidan Turner. I know i'm not the only one.

guffaux · 09/09/2020 13:40

Laurie - Little Women
Gabriel Oak -Far from the Madding Crowd
Tom Holland -Love for Lydia

IceniSky · 09/09/2020 14:17

I like Aragorn not Viggo.

Daryl Dixon was created for the TV show but I fancy his character, tracker, warrior, brave, introverted, caring etc. I don't fancy Norman Reedus.

MrsAvocet · 09/09/2020 14:27

Yes. I adore Legolas but can take or leave Orlando Bloom in anything else, and don't find him particularly attractive as himself. Its the character I like. I would really like to be an elf!

Bunnymumy · 09/09/2020 14:34

Tbf I really like Orlando bloom as Will in pirates of the Caribbean. But I definately agree with you about legolas. What a hottie.

anxietrist · 09/09/2020 15:06

I currently really fancy Pope from animal kingdom which anyone who's watched will know is a little concerning 😬

MorvaanReed · 09/09/2020 15:13

I don't fancy His Grace, The Duke of Ankh, Commander Sir Samuel "Sam" Vimes; I luvs him.

MrsVeryTired · 09/09/2020 15:19

I think in a lot of cases it is the character (with the bonus that they are being played by an attractive actor) but like in my Loki example, he is very different to Tom Hiddleston.

Everysinglebloodytime · 09/09/2020 15:48

@Crinkle77

I currently have a crush on Cormoran Strike.
Oh my goodness, yes!

Couldn't give a toss about the murders I'm only watching it in the hope that he and Robyn will get it on.

RuffleCrow · 09/09/2020 16:45

@sootikinstew - Nooo! George Warleggan is what I have named my ex on my phone as he never, ever stops being a scheming bastard with an axe to grind. Mind you i haven't finished season 5 so no spoilers if he turns into St George in the end.

I'd go for a Dr Enys and Poldark threesome any day though Blush and throw in Hugh Armitage for good measure.

Deathraystare · 09/09/2020 18:41

Aragorn
Spike
Huckleberry Finn
Jack Wild as the Artful Dodger and in HR Puffn'stuff
Dickon from The Secret Garden
Apparently I was in love with Loobey Loo from Andy Pandy when I was young.

AnneBoleynsHead · 09/09/2020 20:17

Mamell
Sorry no idea what my brain was doing last night. Senior momentBlush

Animum2 · 09/09/2020 20:20

Sheldon from big bang theory

Animum2 · 09/09/2020 20:21

And Booth from Bones (David boreanas) is hot

Hippee · 09/09/2020 20:24

tearinyourhand - I went to a Janet Evanovich author event and you had to pick a "Morelli" or "Ranger" badge as you walked in Grin

savetti · 09/09/2020 20:52

Ross Poldark- before the tv show

Clark Kent in Smallville

BillywigSting · 09/09/2020 21:05

Aragorn
David Tennant Dr who (though to be fair that might just be David Tennant because I've fancied him in loads of stuff)

Azriaphale in good omens (which is also oddly just about the only thing that I don't fancy dt in at all)

Dr Bashir and major kira from ds9

Xena (but not Lucy Lawless, and I hadn't quite figured out I really fancied her because I was 10)

James bond

Lestat

And a strange one but if anyone remembers the animated disney version of Robin hood with all the animals, Robin was a fox and also confusingly attractive. I think it might have been the voice.

flowerycurtain · 09/09/2020 21:06

Jamie Fraser.

I go to visit him in my dreams
