Just as the title says. Could be a series or film or stand up.

Definitely agree with What We Do In The Shadows. Also, Extras.

The Comic Strip - they did lots of shows but the ones I particularly remember are ;
Five Go Mad in Dorset
The Bad News Tour

Phoenix Nights

I've just rewatched Peter Kay's Carshare. My ribs are hurting 😂🤣😂

Another Period

I’ve never met anyone else who watched it but it’s funny!

Runkle · 05/09/2020 00:23

It's Always sunny in philadelphia. It's messed up but has me crying laughing.

2bazookas · 05/09/2020 00:24

"what we did on our holidays " film with billy connolly.
"True Lies" (who knew, Arnold Schwarzenegger could do humour)

LearnedResponse · 05/09/2020 00:25

For simple giggles Taskmaster is hard to beat.

I’d go along with many of the suggestions above, but in the interests of adding something new, Richard Osman’s House of Games has more laugh out loud moments per half hour than most sitcoms.

All the series of Rhod Gilbert’s Work Experience are also on iPlayer and are solid entertainment if you like him.

See No Evil, Hear No Evil
with Richard Pryor, Gene Wilder, Joan Severance and Kevin Spacey

puffylovett · 05/09/2020 00:32

The most recent film to have me howling - it’s so bad it’s just great - was The Story of Fire Saga on Netflix.

Another vote for Mandy.

I was watching Leonard Rossiter in 'The Fall and Rise of Reggie Perrin' yesterday due to reading about the pros & cons of home or office working in a Guardian article.
Fantastically acted, very funny but raises some compelling questions about working life in general.

Bridesmaids

I’m really enjoying Semidetached.
Particularly the male stripper bit 🙀🙈

YgritteSnow · 05/09/2020 07:38

Parks and Recreation always makes me laugh. Especially Tom.

WhatamessIgotinto · 05/09/2020 07:39

@puffylovett do you mean the Eurovision film? I watched it a couple of weeks ago and it made me really laugh, which films rarely do as I get bored so quickly. I thought it was great fun. 🤣

BikeRunSki · 05/09/2020 07:40

Workin’ Moms (Netflix, also similar premise to Motherland).
The Middle (sitcom,Netflix)
Frasier

Schitts Creek - it's amazing. Also What we do in the shadows.

Timepasses · 05/09/2020 07:47

Home. Best thing I've watched this year.

SummerSummerSummertime · 05/09/2020 08:38

Fleabag and Killing Eve are pretty funny too IMO - although they are both a little dark.

Horsemad · 05/09/2020 09:19

Haven't read previous replies but 'What We Did On Our Holiday' is really funny. Might still be on iPlayer. 🙂
