Best brand of tea bags?

Can anyone tell me what brand sells the best tea? I remember buying tea bags quite recently and it was lovely but I can’t remember what the brand was.

I love tea and it’s so bad when the tea is disgusting.

Must try the Biscuit Brew. For some reason I thought it might be slightly sweet.

Thompson tea or Yorkshire tea bags.
If people like quite weak tea then tesco do a brand called 'stock wells ' which were 55p for 40 bags. I bought some for a self catering holiday and they were not too bad , but they needed a bit of a brew.

Aldi is fine, if you blind taste tea, most people can't pick out their "favourite!"

Ps I drink red bush anyway now, stupid sensitivity to caffeine!

I can, well, not my favourite as there are a couple that taste similar where I might have difficulty but Typhoo has a distinctive taste (yuk, I go without tea rather than have Typhoo), Yorkshire is very tanin-y (to me), and Tetley I find bland. Single leaf teas are really easy to tell apart, commercial blended teas less so.

Yorkshire. Tea pigs when I'm feeling swanky.

Twinnings rich and full bodied for dh and Tesco own brand decaf for me, better than a lot of branded ones I’ve tried.

CodenameLevonelle · 03/09/2020 21:06

@emilygx Snap! Couldn't go back to Yorkshire now

RoseMartha · 03/09/2020 22:31

Yorkshire is my fav but out my price range unless on offer. Tescos own make is the one I usually buy.

SkiingIsHeaven · 03/09/2020 22:35

M&S extra strong or Sainsburys TTD Assam are both lovely and richly flavoured.

DuaneBenziesvoice · 03/09/2020 22:56

Dorset Tea or Brew Tea Co.

Dorset tea don't make loose tea unfortunately and I no longer use tea bags.

theconstantinoplegardener · 03/09/2020 23:03

Yorkshire tea

CorianderLord · 04/09/2020 00:03

Yorkshire, obviously. Twinnings Assam is ok too.

nonsenceagain · 04/09/2020 00:10

M&S Luxury Gold. Delicious.

SapphireSeptember · 04/09/2020 00:12

I love Assam tea, both Twinings and Sainsbo's TTD, my other favourite tea is English Tea Shop English breakfast (which has Assam tea in it.)
(Although most of the time I like my strange flavoured teas.)
