Has anyone ordered anything from MADE (furniture etc)

When it comes to furniture or homewares my usual go to places are IKEA or occasionally John Lewis - but there is something I am thinking of ordering from Made. Is the quality ok?

I have an amazing light fitting that I adore!!!

We have a few things from there. They are cheaply made. Most look fine but the bed was a disaster. We replaced it after 6 months.

The designs are lovely but they are badly made. We had an armchair that fell to pieces in less than two years. We have a small sofa too and the fabric feels very cheap. Plus it takes months and months to arrive and the customer service is pretty much non existent!

I was going to order a sofa bed from MADE but then saw it was about 1000 years before they would deliver so decided against it.

I know there are some encouraging posts but overall this thread has really put me off ordering from Made!

I love their stuff and have a bed, a chair and a few other items but if anything goes wrong their customer service is shocking.
I ordered an armchair and paid for saturday delivery. My email confirmation said if the item was showing as in stock it would be delivered the next Saturday. Ordered on Monday, waited all day for delivery on Saturday and nothing came. I sent a friendly email saying just as a bit of feedback, I took it to mean that and maybe they should reword it. Got a reply telling me I was lying about the email confirmation, and when I forwarded a screenshot they basically told me it wasn't their fault if I couldn't understand plain English.

I mix them up with some high-end stuff and get loads of compliments.
for the price......excellent!

The stuff always takes ages to arrive but it's good.

Once I thought they hadn't included the bag of screws to assemble the bookshelves and I rang them and they had another bag sent over to me. Then when I was flattening the boxes I found the first bag. So there is customer service.

I have a tv stand from them. It's ok, a few design flaws, but looks good and was cheap. Seem to recall buying a lampshade from them which wouldn't hang straight and I had to send back.

I remember a friend buying a sofa from them which was terrible quality. They replaced it but the replacement was rubbish too.

We've had a chair and a rug. Both lovely, really nice quality and felt really modern and trendy design without being OTT or trying to hard.

I bought a set of Flynn dining chairs and within a few years they had lost all of their shape and the foam padding of the chairs had totally deflated meaning that they were extremely uncomfortable and it felt like you were sitting on a wooden frame. The material, which was in a charcoal grey, also faded really badly. As a result, I have never bought from them again

I’ve got a sofa and a couple of armchairs I’m really pleased with and have kept well. Also have a table that looked great but hasn’t held up so well - it’s not solid oak but veneered with oak which has heat and water marks that can’t be sanded off. Service has always been faultless and a lot better than other homeware stores.

A leather sofa but I regret it. Looks nice but not great quality, bit discolour. I have another that has aged much better

We have things like lights and accessories from there. Been really pleased.

I have a few pieces - impressed with quality for the price but delivery timelines seem to be random aspirations rather than realistic goals. Customer services not great.

I'd love to say, but I ordered 2 desks 4 months ago and I still don't have any desks. Dunno how it can take so long tbh.

I have a great corner sofa bed from Made and it's 5 years old and still looks and feels as good as new. Also have a smaller chair bed ( the haru) from them that looks great but is very uncomfortable to sit or sleep on. Thankfully it's only my for my DDs room for the odd sleepover. When it arrived it was slightly faulty and the customer service was great. They ordered another one for me and said it was ok to carry on using the faulty one in the meantime.
