Anybody else had this, paypal asking to send code to verif phone number but code not coming through?y

Paypal keeps asking me to verify my phone number for 2-step verification but although I have checked my phone number the code is coming through.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

Well that makes no sense.
How can they tell two different people two different things. I'm really confused now.

[email protected] is a genuine PayPal email address. I know this because I'm looking at a long list of genuine PayPal emails that have come from that address relating to my business PayPal account.

Crapster, that makes it even more odd as all my company business emails come from [email protected].

I think it depends on your email preferences.

These are the non-essential emails, like the ones with an overview of my sales insights and offering me PayPal credit cards etc, and there's instructions for how to change my email preferences to opt-out at the bottom of the emails.

But emails about payments recieved/sent come from the [email protected] address. They presumably use different email addresses so you can opt out of the non-essential emails?

[email protected] is legit too.

As far as I can work out, the service one is used for advising of transactions and the .mail one is used for disseminating information. Such as the introduction of two step verification.

I realise this is a bit late but when the post was made I asked paypal on their Twitter support if it was genuine. Due to CV I have only just had a reply, but they also said it is a spoof email.
