Sorry, v needy fred.

I last posted about 5 years ago to ask for advice on how to screenshot a v explicit message that accidentally ended up on DS’s iPad and which, long but v predictable story short, led to STBXH and I splitting up.
Still not divorced Shock.

So, howzit been here meantime?

Yes, I remember you Smile

Passmethecrisps · 09/07/2020 22:45

I remember your name but not that story. I was very active on MN between about 2011 and maybe 2015ish not in an interesting way though. I am not a ‘name’

Hope you are ok.

Pacif1cDogwood · 09/07/2020 22:45

I’m gonna need to get the MN app - the website is quite clunky on my phone.

I definitely remember your name and seeing you around in threads. I have a different name to back then back I’m still here, just about.

Sorry to hear about your shitty ex. Or congratulations, whichever is more appropriate!

Here is weird. Very angsty and angry and unforgiving lately. Definitely not as much fun as a few years ago. Maybe lockdown is turning everyone against each other, and we won’t have to worry about social distancing because we will have all eaten each other Flowers

PerkingFaintly · 09/07/2020 22:46

Really sad news though... CatThiefKeith has died.Sad

Meningitis. Had an earache or something one day, couple of days later gone.

I still can't quite believe it. Keep feeling she's going to rock up again with a thread just like this.

FaceOfASpink · 09/07/2020 22:47

And ZombieSad

Shangrilalala · 09/07/2020 22:47

It’s meaner at times and rarely as funny but still sufficiently engrossing to leave me with an ironing mountain and a questionably clean house.

Pacif1cDogwood · 09/07/2020 22:47

@FaceOfASpink

How's it different? In a nutshell, if I told you then I'd expect to get jumped on pdq.
Oh, a bun fight!! Not had one of them in aaaaages - not even with STBXH who does not know how to do robust debate...

TheFormerPorpentinaScamander · 09/07/2020 22:47

I recognise your name from the 'old days'
Mines changed though. Things are... different around here these days. We can 'quote' and see all OPs posts. People still don't rtft though. And occasionally someone pops up and tells is how much better MN would be if we just

ErrolTheDragon · 09/07/2020 22:48

Hello - yes, I remember you though didn't know what happened - sorry to hear that.

As to how's it been here - like the Room of Requirement, I guess. It's here when you need it, for different purposes.

Besom · 09/07/2020 22:48

Yes I do! I think we met once at a meet up. Sorry to hear thar. Hope you are ok. I was away for ages as well and just came back. It's very busy now.

Pacif1cDogwood · 09/07/2020 22:48

A clean house is a sign of a disturbed mind. IMVHO.

sweetkitty · 09/07/2020 22:48

I remember you too been here 16 odd years now

KetoWinnie · 09/07/2020 22:48

wow, yeh, I remember you. I have had a million names though, I was never ''known'' on mumsnet even though I've been here since methuselah was a lad.

Glad you're on the road to feeling better. Doesn't feel like five years since I've seen that familiar screen name!

Pacif1cDogwood · 09/07/2020 22:50

Hello Errol - live to recognise a name Smile

Room of requirements is not a bad concept.

OP posts:
CalmYoBadSelf · 09/07/2020 22:50

I remember you but I namechange regularly so you won't know me.
Sorry to hear what you've been through and good to see you about again.
Agree MN is a very different beast nowadays. You still get flashes of fun like the old days and some thought provoking stuff here and there but not as much so I tend to pop in less often now

Pacif1cDogwood · 09/07/2020 22:51

I discovered MN when I was having some BFing issues with DS1. He’s now 17 1/2 and has a girlfriend ShockSmile

I'm sure you gave me advice once. Arn't you a GP?

PerkingFaintly · 09/07/2020 22:54

I might have been Parsing Fancy back then.

Pacif1cDogwood · 09/07/2020 22:54

I can neither confirm nor deny my occupation....
GMC says if I post in my official function I have to give you all my GMC number and while I love you all, I ain’t doing that Halo

Always lovely to see a name you remember.

You were always very kind and straight talking and I'm sorry you've been through such a tough time.

SlightyJaded · 09/07/2020 22:55

Yep I remember you. Welcome home.

ShowOfHands · 09/07/2020 22:56

Five flipping years?

Blimey dude. I'm glad life is moving on for you and its fab to "see" you.
