Does anyone buy canned sparkling water?

If so, where from?

Sparkling water is the only way of getting the right amount of water each day. Still water just doesn't interest me. I sit with glasses/bottles of tap water in front of me and am just not inclined to drink it.

Barring a Soda Stream (which I will ask for as a Christmas present) - how can I do better environmentally?

I'd like to buy cans of sparkling water (unflavoured) but the only ones I can find are on Amazon and cost £££ in comparison with the bottled versions I grab from Aldi.

Why isn't there a cheap option that won't fill landfill? I'm finding myself reusing the plastic bottles for the kids or just normal tap water but there's only so many I can reuse.

Help!

Coca-Cola and other companies are increasing dehydrating aquifers in communities around the world. People in country towns in Australia found this happening to them. They were having to buy in water while their water was being bottled to be sold elsewhere.

There needs to be a lot more thought on what people are buying, soft drinks besides bottled and canned water is becoming a huge problem. It would be far better for people to get their own rain water tanks and drink their own water.

Drinking out of aluminium cans is also not great long term.

I do! We have a fridge full of Ugly Water, Dash water, La Joli and now the San Pellegrino Essenza. All from Ocado, all in cans.

In the US it's much more common (and cheap) and when we are there we drink a lot of Poland Springs, La Croix and Bubly.

....so having read the replies, I'm even more confused, is a soda stream worth it from a "stop buying plastic" POV?

I drink 1/2 pint glasses of sparkling water a day.
(Mixed with Apple cider vinegar)
I'm paying £1.30-something for a glass bottle of 750ml 3 x week.

So spending alot to try and help the environment!

Does SodaStream water taste as nice as bottled fizzy water?

If you don’t add flavours soda stream and all other carbonator do not change the taste of tap water. The bubbles may make it more pleasant to drink, at least in my case, but the overall taste is still tap water.
