I'm inviting my sister and her daughter (15) over for Afternoon Tea and am looking for ideas.

Tea and proper coffee

@MsSlightyConfused of course, any kind of cake 👍 (I simply used the word cake to include all the ‘cake-y’ type products. I eat all of them 😂)

Homemade jammie dodgers are gorgeous and very easy to make

We did afternoon tea for DMlL's 90th birthday last year, DS who is a chef in a posho hotel, did a full on hotel style trolley of sandwiches and cakes for 30 elderly ladies, and they filled their boots, gossiped and had a lovely time. There was cake too but they were brought by DSIL and DMIL's care team, and both were lavish. There was a lot to offer around as folk went home: Please take a big slice for your husband do, please, we begged Lemonade and strawberry mint iced tea went down really well as it was a very hot day.
