and I started crying. I'm so fat and lumpy. I didn't know I looked like that. Just weighed myself and I'm over 16 stone and size 20. This is how people see me Sad I don't want to be this person. I look 10 years older than I am.

@Rebellenny, My family and I are all unphotogenic, but we're ok in real life and some (not me) are definitely well above average attractiveness.

OP: it's never too late. I'm 59. This time last year I weighed 15'5. I am only 5'2. A year on I am (slightly) under 12 stone.

I would like to lose at least another 2.5. Lockdown has slowed that process as I'm not going to the gym/pool, and because having my children temporarily back at home means that I'm baking more! However, I'm not putting weight back on, which is good enough for now.

I'm still obese and have a long way to go, but I already feel so much better. I can walk up hills (and the stairs) without getting out of breath. My legs and arms are much more toned (still fat, but they look much better), and my face has changed shape so that I look more like me again. I can also get back into some of my old favourite clothes and have used it as an excuse to buy a few new ones. I am also much less worried about having my photo taken.
