What other animations could you recommend? They tend to like ones where we can read the book and watch it too. Any other ones we might have missed?

Judith Kerr’s Mog books. Grin

StrictlyAFemaleFemale · 07/05/2020 21:41

Mog! I did really well with those in the works one year and got a stash for 10 quid.

Shrimatisays · 07/05/2020 21:50

Where can I watchb all these animated films?

OpposableThumbs2 · 07/05/2020 21:52

Oliver Jeffers Lost and Found is a beautiful book and animation.

Itisbetter · 07/05/2020 21:54

Just try and mix up authors a bit. There are so many lovely books

Letthemysterybe · 07/05/2020 22:04

Mimi and the mountain dragon. I think we’ve seen it on amazon prime.

noodledoodler · 07/05/2020 22:05

Also coming on to say Hairy Mc Clairy and not to forget Slikinki Malinki. The Aliens love Underpants collection is good fun too.

Letthemysterybe · 07/05/2020 22:06

And ‘snowy day’ , also on amazon prime.

noodledoodler · 07/05/2020 22:06

Oh my, that should read Slinki Malinki

Sarahlou252 · 07/05/2020 22:19

A Squash and a Squeeze

My favourite!

Appreciate your suggestions everyone - thanks. We've got lots of the books mentioned (and we've been lucky that we've had many of them passed on) I hadn't heard of Lost and Found and it seems like a popular one.

I tend to put a 30 min animation on for them while I make lunch. Helps them to chill out and gives me chance to rack my brains to decide what to make. Grin

Yay for Zog and the Flying Doctor’s Grin

And god yes, NEVER paper dolls. But it’s unlikely as it’s not illustrated by Axel Scheffler.

I found one by accident on ebay - The Bear by Raymond Briggs. On dvd for £2.50. It's a lovely one.
