I'm so bored that I've decided to totally piss myself off by rewatching the end of Lost

Really really piss me off

Out of pure boredom and the need to feel some form of extreme emotion rather than the standard lockdown emotions of boredom, irritability, aimless grumpiness.

So today I've watched Event Horizon, and am now watching the last season of Lost, because I don't remember the end of any tv show ever pissing me off more.

This is what it's come to. Fucking hell I'm sick of lockdown.

My kids are watching Lost!

My brother (45) shaved his beard, trimmed his mustache and gave himself a mohawk. He said Mr. T from Rocky III was his inspiration, but he looks more the Grindelwald from Fantastic Beasts.

I was off for a few months a couple of years ago and rewatched x-files, I really enjoyed that.

Been rewatching ER over a good few years and am getting to the end, the earlier seasons were better than the later ones, but again on the whole it’s been an enjoyable experience

There is not enough money in the world to make me rewatch Lost. I’m not a fan of the word but I remember having the Rage after the last episode.

Merlin annoyed me. Just the whole he was left forever on his own! Or something. Remember being a bit oh is that it?!

I loved Merlin but omg the end episode broke me.

If you want to feel rage the likes of which you've never felt before, then watch Game of Thrones from the beginning. The final season was so bad that it completed soiled all the seasons that came before it. All the clever writing, subtle plots and build up about Jon's real parentage went out of the window like Bran and instead we got some absolute inane bullshit that the writers pulled out of their arses.

They had no budget, they could spend however many millions they needed, and take as long as they wanted to tell the story and still fucked it up.

How I Met Your Mother was also awful. The final season lasted about 500 years and the ending was horrible.

I was so pissed about what they did with Dany's character in game of thrones! Like she suddenly decided to go against everything she stood for! Hmmm. Totally did her the dirty.

And why couldn't gendry have got on that ship too?! Just saying lol.

I loved Lost, and my gosh Sawyer is just gorgeous.

But I'm still not clear on the ending. I do love it though as a series, but the smoke monster is ridiculous though.

Does anyone actually understand the ending though? Are they all dead? Did they all get off the island? Why are they all together again in a church?

I don't think GOT was even close to as shit as lost- at least they finished it and didn't totally cop out!

Was only talking about Lost today. Still annoys me. So many plot holes. Ultimately it boils down to ‘We didn’t know how it would end when we were writing it’. Just...urgh.

Also agree about HIMYM. I loved that show. The ending was so annoying!

I do think ultimately it’s very difficult to end a show people love. The only recent one I really loved was Crazy ex-girlfriend...I got to the last episode thinking ‘What will it be?’ And then suddenly realised it could only be finished a certain way. It was perfect.

Yep all dead but didnt die at the same time so the ones who flew away in the plane in the last episode got off the Island..lived a life then died. Ones who died on the Island died there and then. Everything that happened on the Island happened..somehow.

So eventually they all met at the church having died at different periods so they could cross over together. ...because I don't know they were good friends?

I know one of the actors from Lost and she’s fairly clueless as to the ending too!

Am I right in thinking the crash happened, a lot of what happened in the early seasons happened. At some point they all died and then kind of carried on on the island while waiting in some form of after life waiting room for the others to arrive/die so they could all be together? So some of the stuff in the later seasons wasn’t real because they were dead?

But that doesn’t explain 99% of stuff. The polar bears, the smoke monster,......going back to the 1970s.........were they dead by then?

I started watching season 1 a couple of months ago but gave up after a few episodes. Claire’s whining was. Annoying me.

I got up at 5 after being obsessed, investing hours, only to find the last episode would remain one of life's bitter disappointments.

I've re-watched The Sopranos, Breaking Bad and GOT. The first two endings are perfection.

I've just rewatched all 6 seasons and I am extremely proud of the fact that I now understand it! Had to read a load of websites each episode lol but I was determined to do it. If I've achieved anything in lockdown, this is it

Ok so the crash was real, it wasn't purgatory, the island did exist. In season 6 you saw an "alternate timeline" set of stories, that wasn't another timeline or whatever, it was actually the afterlife. They had to reconnect to move on to what ever lies beyond the church. Desmond was the constant for them all to get them to remember each other, right their wrongs, and move on. They all died at different times but came together in the afterlife to sort their shit out before moving on. Hurley and Ben became the new "Jacob" and stayed to protect the island

The stuff seasons 1-5 was all real and happening (including the time jumps). The flash forward to the afterlife was signalled by a jet plane sound so you knew it was an afterlife jump if you get me

Were the polar bears not explained as being there from the dharma initiative? Basically for animal testing of the mad shit they got up to 😂

Yes polar bears were there for experiments by Dharma into the electromagnetic forces... in season 1 it was alluded that Walt was conjuring them, but that was a red herring

I've had to give up on west world cause it's started giving me the rage, I have no idea what is supposed to be happening. Lost ending was the worst ever.

I've got Westworld waiting as well... I'm impressed enough I managed Lost, think my brain would explode if I tried to figure WW out as well
