I'm so bored that I've decided to totally piss myself off by rewatching the end of Lost

I'm finding myself leaning towards films and tv shows that either

Terrify me
Really really piss me off

Out of pure boredom and the need to feel some form of extreme emotion rather than the standard lockdown emotions of boredom, irritability, aimless grumpiness.

So today I've watched Event Horizon, and am now watching the last season of Lost, because I don't remember the end of any tv show ever pissing me off more.

This is what it's come to. Fucking hell I'm sick of lockdown.

I have no idea how it ended. I think I watched till season 3, maybe not even that far and thought what the fuck is going on here. Started off great aswell.

StoorieHoose · 03/05/2020 21:12

I'll take your crappy ending to Lost and raise you Dexter final episode. I have never hated a TV episode as much as that one
Utter garbage

Just did a google and came across this www.looper.com/160594/we-finally-understand-the-ending-of-lost/

All speculative, but these were the theories I think.

No don’t.
Just don’t.
I was absolutely raging that they had dared waste so much of my time invested into that series, it would bring back those waves of fuming anger again.
See, I’m fuming on you behalf for even thinking of the time they are going to waste on it again.

WinterBerry7 · 03/05/2020 21:15

God I was obsessed with lost but gave up at season 3 as I had absolutely no clue what was going on anymore and spent every episode just totally baffled.

Justgivemewine · 03/05/2020 21:18

I can’t imagine ever being that bored 😆

RRocket · 03/05/2020 21:18

I've committed to it now, I'm several episodes in.

At least it will bring me out of my comatose lethargic lockdown boredom.

Fucking hell, Kate's abs. I'm going to have to stop eating multi packs of kitkats tomorrow. (Because then I'll definitely look exactly like Kate in a bra, hahaha 🤨)

I've watched the whole thing from the start and watched the final episode yesterday. The whole series was amazing right up until the last 20 mins of the show. I wasn't as raging as I was first time round as I was prepared but still what a shit ending.

Kez0777 · 03/05/2020 21:22

I had no idea what happened at the end and was just really confused so if anyone can actually tell me what happened that would be great

Chiyo666 · 03/05/2020 21:23

Imagine how us game of thrones fans feel. 10 YEARS.

Thescrewinthetuna · 03/05/2020 21:24

Why would you put yourself through the disappointment again?!

camelfinger · 03/05/2020 21:24

I didn’t understand the ending.
I was intrigued about Walt having special powers and Claire’s baby also being somehow special, but I don’t remember those parts being resolved, which like many other aspects, was a disappointment.

justtb · 03/05/2020 21:30

@stooriehoose ooooh! Dexters ending, bloody good call! That was AWFUL 😂

RedRiverShore · 03/05/2020 21:32

As PP have said Dexters ending was worse. The one I liked best was The Mentalists ending

RRocket · 03/05/2020 21:33

I'm starting to fear that Westworld is going to end up pissing me off in the same way.

It's JJ Abrams again. I don't trust him after Lost.

@Chiyo666

I binged watched most of GOT and only had to wait a year and a half for the last season. I was still absolutely raging at that. I was absolutely obsessed and then I just felt..... Well I can't describe how I felt actually.

StoorieHoose · 03/05/2020 21:36

Westworld series 2 was just too confusing. I've not started S3 yet

MrsW85 · 03/05/2020 21:39

I've just finished lost this afternoon after watching them all. I didnt mind the end as much this time round. I still couldn't explain to someone what it was all about though. I did find them all remembering each other at the end quite emotional. I blame lockdown 🤣

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 03/05/2020 21:42

@RRocket from what remember everything that happened on the Island happened. Which is bizzare when consider what did go down! But that was all real.

Then at the end they all met in the Church to move on together having died at different times..some on the Island and some off...except Ben who stayed outside.

It's when you watch it back the first 3 series..fine then came we have to move the Island! Magic time travel.
I loved the twist when Jack's flash back was a flash forward instead. Then all went tipsy turvey

Jessikka · 03/05/2020 21:43

I've watched lost 3 or 4 times now. I STILL don't think I fully understand wtf that ending was.

CloudPop · 03/05/2020 21:43

I can't remember how it ended. Now I'm going to have to watch it again, despite knowing it was rubbish

RRocket · 03/05/2020 21:44

@stooriehoose I'm up to date on WW and it's completely insane now. I have no idea who is a host, which scenes are present/past, and who is on which side.

I refuse to give up though, I'm going to see the fucker through. I've only carried on this far to see Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad in it.

Getting the silent rage here remembering Dexter's and GOT ending. Lost ending. I still have no clue ha . I used to love that show , the medium I think it was called. I watched it all except the final episode. I couldn't bring myself to do it. I FINALLY watched it last week and I balled like a baby. I also liked The Mentalist ending

WinterBerry7 · 03/05/2020 21:51

I’ve just read the link explaining it all and I’m still none the wiser.

I never got into GOT but my partner was a huge fan and I’ve never seen him react like he did when he watched the finale! I felt quite bad for him really - he’d invested so much time in it and was genuinely gutted at the ending!
