Watching Dirty Dancing for the 1000th time, but probably the first time since I've had the DC and it's got me thinking.... what do you think happened after they went home?

Do you think she gave up her place at college to be with Jonny? She was happy and passionate about her future before she met him and it would be such a shame if she ditched it for a boy... even if he is Patrick Swayze!

How pissed off would you be as a parent if your kid did that?!

And yes, I am that bored that I'm spending my time thinking about this!

I think she carried on with her ambitions, and was stronger for the experience. I think Johnny drifts from job to job or ends up with a rich older woman bankrolling him.

There is a remake of it, not bad (I've watched it 5 times 😂). Johnny is a theatre producer or dance teacher in a theatre very successful, Baby had a kid about 7 years old and is married but still has dance lessons. She goes to watch his show and they meet up, Johnny obviously still loves her, she leaves with her kid and husband

In a similar vein one of my favourite films is St Elmo’s Fire and I wonder what would have happened to that lot.

@MrsMoastyToasty - have you read the fan theory about Sandy & Danny? Google (I think) Grease Conspiracy.

They go their separate ways. She moves to NYC and becomes a top lawyer. Marries an investment banker and has a couple of kids.
Starts getting bored with her “perfect” life and decides to look Jonny up on Facebook. Finds him and discovers that he is a doorman in a building a few blocks down. Spends lots of time stalking him. Works out what time he leaves the building each night and accidentally on purpose bumps in to him. They start seeing each other regularly.

She employs him as a handy man at her Hamptons house for the summer and they recreate their summer at Kellermans while her husband works long hours in the city.

She went to college and Jonny married me

Yeah I think she grew up and had a fantastic career maybe not in the peace corps but I expect she was very successful ,I don't think it would have ever worked long term with Johnny they were too different plus he was far to old for her

Yeah I watched the sa!e documentary @Vinosaurus it's sad how many of 're cast members are no longer with is the actor who played Robbie died of a heroin overdose a few years after the film
