Having watched some of their other videos, I’m concerned for her.

SickOfLockdown · 15/04/2020 13:07

His actions are very passive aggressive, she’s trying to take her face off camera in the second video, he doesn’t care he’s making her uncomfortable.

Controlling & passive aggressive

fascinated · 15/04/2020 13:08

And even if it were to be “innocent “, it doesn’t really send a great message out to any men watching who might be violent or angry etc

Useryokyesno · 15/04/2020 13:10

It 8s not just a phone propped up rather than some one filming. I think that was a tell. It didn't look jokey. It looked serious. Urgh.

fascinated · 15/04/2020 13:11

Whoever thinks it is belittling actual abuse - it isn’t about just this, though, is it? Tip of the iceberg stuff.

GabsAlot · 15/04/2020 13:12

exactly sux but lets forget that bit because its not a man abusing someone

PainAuChocolatAndBlackCoffee · 15/04/2020 13:12

Another who thought this might have been blown out of proportion, but actually it's not nice at all.

I've always thought he was just a bit hyperactive and perhaps a little self absorbed, which could be an occupational hazard I guess - people telling you daily how wonderful you are etc, but he does come across as a bit of a narcissistic bully in these videos.

Confused
CatherineOfAragonsPomegranate · 15/04/2020 13:14

Sorry usually don't jump to conclusions but that screams out abusive situation to be. Her body language in response is defensive and unsure. It's a familiar scenario.

The way he grabs her so roughly and then his obviously pissed off face in the 2nd clip and her over the top bouncy cheerful response to cover.

Not good. It must be worse when the camera is switched off. It looks like the lower level kind that goes on and on until one day you wake up and realise you have been worn down to nothing.

FortunesFave · 15/04/2020 13:17

uk.news.yahoo.com/michael-buble-wife-video-073124374.html

Well she's defending him and saying there's no issue.

User0987613 · 15/04/2020 13:17

Yiiiiiikes. Big Buble fan here but I've only ever seen him live in concert. That first video gave me chills and it's NOT a normal way to interact with your spouse. The fact she immediately apologised meant they probably had an argument/discussion over that in the past, which in itself is ludicrous (being the first to speak?).

I found their FB livestreams since lockdown began a bit strange and attention seeking. Seems like he needs constant validation to thrive and after all events have been cancelled, getting it online is the only way. It must be rare for celebs to have such a long pause in their schedules and the perfect time to bond with your children in a beautiful, luxurious home. Why not just enjoy the privacy instead of wasting time broadcasting random stuff to strangers.

Also he's clearly shot himself in the foot through all the livestreams because all these tiny moments would never have been noticed by the public otherwise.

Feel incredibly sorry for Luisa. She's a beautiful woman who gave up her career for their children, including the horror of accompanying her son through a cancer diagnosis. Maybe MB has unresolved trauma due to that experience as well but it obviously doesn't excuse abuse.

Wonder when the press will pick up this story! (Hello lurking journos)

Bananabixfloof · 15/04/2020 13:18

That's bad, i don't know how anyone can not see it. The elbow into her side, she says omg I'm so sorry, then he yanks her towards him. She looks like she wants to cry from then on.
If he behaves like that on camera for anyone to see I dread to think what he does off camera. And no she should not have slapped him.

Frompcat · 15/04/2020 13:18

I've always thought he was a massive creep.

His Spanish accent is also shite.

MiniCooperLover · 15/04/2020 13:20

When he yanks her towards him he also uses his other hand to keep a very tight grip on her arm, if you look at the pictures he's gripping her other arm really really tightly.

ceejay54321 · 15/04/2020 13:22

Even if it is meant in jest, people in the public eye should not behaving in a way that could give the message that elbowing, slapping or using abusive language (you’re dead to me) is ‘ok’. However I felt so uncomfortable watching this, the ‘jest’ part was lost on me.

User0987613 · 15/04/2020 13:25

OF COURSE she's going to defend him! She's trapped in lockdown with a physically abusive man and 3 small children.

VisionQuest · 15/04/2020 13:25

Just showed this to my husband. He's not the most astute at times but his immediate reaction was "He's a massive douche and is probably abusive"

DontStandSoClose · 15/04/2020 13:28

I don't understand what you are all seeing, I just see a couple mucking about? I guess if you've have been abused you probably see things differently? He's taking the mick out of her for being late, the reactions on here seem overly dramatic?

MorganKitten · 15/04/2020 13:29

He’s an alcoholic so don’t think he cares much.

Propergator · 15/04/2020 13:29

First thought on seeing that was “whoa, abusive bastard right there.’ He’s so rough and has a hard, cruel expression when he yanks her close to him. It made my skin crawl to see. Poor woman. And the second clip, so passive aggressive going on and on aabout how he has to apologise to everyone because her lateness was nasty. If that’s how he acts in front of his fans I don’t want to think about what he’s like the rest of the time. I hope she stays safe and gets out of his clutches.

UserDeleted · 15/04/2020 13:30

Someone else has already mentioned the pause when he says, "you’re dead to me." Its so clear. He tells her, "you’re dead," and then adds on the "to me" when he clocks whats he's said on camera. Scary man.

LochJessMonster · 15/04/2020 13:30

Another who thinks people are projecting. They are just mucking about, ‘you’re dead to me’ was clearly a joke.

I watched a few of their videos particularly through their sons chemo treatment and thought they had a great sense of strength and humour.

Teddy1970 · 15/04/2020 13:31

Well she would defend him during lockdown wouldn't she? She doesn't have any choice, right now, she's stuck inside with him day and night, she wouldn't announce to world what goes on at home now, it would be too risky for her, even famous people need an escape plan.

CuppaZa · 15/04/2020 13:31

That was uneasy watching. The people who don’t see a problem in his behaviour on camera probably haven’t experienced an abusive relationship. This is probably a small snippet of what goes on behind the scenes. You can’t mistake the venom in his eyes, the aggression, the ‘jokingly’ putting her down. That elbow nudge would have hurt to. It wasn’t a jokingly soft one, it was short and sharp and a warning. Her face when he didn’t too Sad
What a smarmy prick
