Three "must see" Disney movies?

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 05/04/2020 22:43

Just got Disney Plus. Have only really seen the oldies (little mermaid/lion king) plus Toy story.

I'm overwhelmed with the choice!

So...
Which three would you recommend?

OP posts:

jjesquire · 06/04/2020 21:02

@LaurieSchafferIsAllBitterNow I feel we have a spiritual connection. I could have wrote your post word for word! Adore all three and el dorado is deffo worthy of a Disney mention.

Off to watch Hunkules now Grin

Mrsjayy · 06/04/2020 21:09

LochJessMonster · 06/04/2020 21:55

Treasure planet- massively underrated and underwatched

Tangled

Hercules

Forgone90 · 06/04/2020 21:55

Moana
Zootropolis
Penguins (part of the Disney nature series... So funny Steve is my new favourite Disney character)

ChippyMinton · 06/04/2020 21:56

Coco
Cool Runnings
Ratatouille

Lefkosia · 06/04/2020 21:58

I'd say Hunchback of Notre Dame - great songs and it's a bit darker than most Disney films so it's a bit of a different flavour.
Emporers New Groove is fun, and Tangled is good too

orangesandlemo · 06/04/2020 22:03

Moana and the new aladin

Figgygal · 06/04/2020 22:05

I couldn’t say only 3

Big hero 6
Incredibles
Tangled
Moana
Up
Coco

Not a fan of any of the live action remakes

VetOnCall · 06/04/2020 23:34

Up and Wall-E are both perfect imo. Funny, sad, sweet, touching. I'm in my 30s with no kids and I love both of them.

Tangled and Ratatouille are both also worth a watch. Going to have to try to catch Moana and Coco after reading this thread!

HPLikecraft · 07/04/2020 02:00

So hard to choose!

The Aristocats
Hunchback
Zootropolis

Or maybe Robin Hood!

AllTheseThingsThatIHaveNotDone · 07/04/2020 02:31

My top 3 are:
Lilo and Stitch ''go into your room...I AM IN MY ROOM'' Wink Grin
Mulan (Donny Osmond's I'll make a man out of you is my favourite)
Wreck it Ralph

AllTheseThingsThatIHaveNotDone · 07/04/2020 02:32

No, sorry, forgot Coco - swap Wreck it Ralph for Coco.

Figgygal · 07/04/2020 07:08

Oh yes wreck it Ralph has real heart to it

TheClitterati · 07/04/2020 07:42

Dd is 12 and is working her way through all the Marvel films in order.

Apparently this is the best thing that could possibly happen right now

twosoups1972 · 07/04/2020 12:53

My DC are obsessed with The Aristocats at the moment, but I can’t get past O’Malley the Alley Cat having Baloo’s voice

I never knew that!

Mamia15 · 07/04/2020 12:56

Christopher Robin

MrsPatrickDempsey · 07/04/2020 12:58

No one has mentioned Brother Bear
It's fab

Pandoraslastchance · 07/04/2020 12:58

Moana, Up and Hercules

My oh said last jedi, empire strikes back and return of the jedi Hmm

jakeyboy1 · 10/04/2020 09:40

I need to check out the Emperors New Groove about the only one I haven't seen.

For the person saying their TV/iPad is too old we are watching Disney+ through our PlayStation. Oddly we can watch it through the Sony PlayStation but not our newer Sony DVD which has apps on 🤷‍♀️
