Had enough of 2020 so I'm going back to 1989. I'm off to the under 18s disco to try and snog that fit lad in 5th year who looks like Jason Donovan. Bros is on the radio and I've just back combed my hair and sprayed it solid with insette. I'm wearing Body shop kiwi lip balm and impulse body spray. Anyone coming ?

I'm with you in 1989. Just had a perm to try to make my hair look like Kylie's but I'm not sure it's really "me". First driving lesson later, then off to my Saturday job tomorrow in Safeway.

I'm eating Heinz Toast Toppers for tea, my sister has sardines on toast. We're watching Jim'll Fix It (sorry everyone, but we didn't know) then later it's The Generation Game with Larry Grayson. My sister and I have been out all day on our bikes round the village, we bought Pick and Mix and Look In magazine. I've got no worries, anxiety or hang ups. Can I just stay here please?

I know it’s not long ago but life was pretty good: Kate and William got married, the UK BOSSED the Olympics opening ceremony and the Queen’s diamond jubilee was pretty good too. I was in a new job, which I loved, my children were still children and ISTR the sun was out all year (ok, that’s probably an exaggeration but ykwim)

I would go back to 2002. I had a live in holiday job. No mobile phones, I used to call my Mum once a week from a public phone box. Got paid about £80 a week and had the time of my life.
