Yes I am sure lots of you really love it. I do not have internet at home, or any money to waste paying for this each month just for free postage or whatever. Pisses me off big time when I do an order - I avoid those with free prime mentioned - and when I go to pay there are several lines of "We have given you a free 30 day trial" etc etc. If I wanted one I would apply for one. Feckers.

I know I could cancel but what is the betting they would take no notice. Really fed up of ordering from them now.

Its really not difficult to unsubscribe at all. It's literally pressing about 3 buttons.

It’s very easy to unsubscribe from Prime. You’d have to be a bit dense if you found it hard tbh

I think people do it without realising and/or forget to cancel the free trial. No need to be horrible to people.

Oh for goodness sakes, just accept it and then cancel your membership ten seconds later. You still get the free 30 days membership! (I recommend doing this around Christmas or a month where lots of birthdays occur).

It's about 4 clicks and under 30seconds to cancel a Prime membership.

It may be the simplest thing in the world to cancel a membership but why set it up so it is hard to avoid in the first place. That is what I am getting at. Enough people are eager to do so. I just don't see the point at the moment and don't care how easy it is.

I reiterate, why wouldn’t you? You get 30 free days of tv, music, next day deliveries and other benefits, even if you immediately cancel after joining up

There’s like one extra screen where it asks you about Prime before you confirm your purchase. It’s not ‘loads of extra buttons’ - it’s just notifying that Prime delivery is available . I really don’t know what you mean but ‘it’s hard to avoid’.

It used to be hard to cancel - ten years ago maybe. I’d dispute it is now - your account > Prime Membership > Manage Membership > End Membership. That’s on the app. I know it’s similar on desktop as I remember looking last time someone had a similar thread! It has changed massively since Prime first came out when it wasn’t clear it was a subscription service, you couldn’t cancel online etc.

I may have just panicked when I did an order than I then cancelled. I ordered a single book then and realised that it was okay they hadn't signed me up after all!

I already have a set of 6 really nice Mormons screen prints (old book cover artwork) that DH bought me one day when I was feeling blue and I’ve tried event put them yet (I think he immediately regretted it and DS just said - they’re not going in my room! Put them in your bedroom!)
