Is there a supply chain issue with Minstrels chocolates?

DH hasn't been able to find any, in supermarkets large or small, for about three weeks.

I told him that Mumsnet would know what's going on

I don't meant to brag, but I have a packet of Minstrels in my cupboard - exH picked me up three for a £1 or something in a One Stop type shop last week. Suggests they might not be the freshest chocolates in the world.

I'm open to offers in exchange for hand gel...

Does no one buy counters? Much nicer than minstrels but equally unavailable at present...

I bought a large pack in Waitrose last week. Then I forgot about them and find them I’m my handbag today. They didn’t have any small packs though (shame).
