Is there a supply chain issue with Minstrels chocolates?

DH hasn't been able to find any, in supermarkets large or small, for about three weeks.

I told him that Mumsnet would know what's going on

Bought a large bag at Tesco on Sunday. Ate them all on Sunday too. Didn't share either. So there.

Im having the same issue with malteasers been to 5 different shops and couldn't find any

Maltesers and minstrels (commonly known as adult smarties cuz I dont share) are available at my local McColls.

I have bought a pack to enjoy whilst reading this thread.

I've been specifically looking for the pack of three proper sized bags of Maltesers. Nowhere to be found except today, voila! Poundland! I might have stocked up... 🐷

We have got boxes and boxes of them in the back at work and the shelves are full.
Maybe they were all accidentally delivered to us?

Omg I was about to ask this. Sainsbury’s hasn’t had any got for ages and I’ve done an online shop as I KNOW it comes from a different store and they’ve emailed me to say they haven’t got any and are replacing them with BUTTONS!!!! Who do I complain to?

I’ve been in 3 different counties, in Sainsbury’s, Booths, Tesco and various corner shops and convenience stores. None to be had.

I shared a bag with my DS at the cinema on Monday.

They're not produced in China are they...?

I was looking for Minstrels today. Nothing. Lots of those rotten buttons though.

My local coop and booths both have them, I finished off a packet yesterday

I've eaten all the maltesers @Rockbird, I've had a bag every day for the last two weeks...

I saw on Facebook revels being recalled as shards of metal may be in them?
And apparently there's broken equipment hence the malteser shortage!

I've been searching everywhere for rolos and no where seems to have any!
