Today I hit 50 and this is what I did

DH died last year after three years of living with cancer, this was. Iceland was a place I wanted to take him but he didn't make so I bundled the kids up and we are here for half term and tonight we were treated to the most extraordinary display of Northern lights, so happy birthday to me

Beautiful, what a once in a lifetime experience, so many people go but aren't lucky enough to catch sight of the northern lights.

That's an amazing thing to do. My friends went to Iceland after Christmas and didn't see the Northern lights at all so lucky you.

I turned 50 last week and myself and DD went to Salzburg for the Sound of Music tour. Something I've wanted to do for years.
