I'm in bed after an op - what shall I watch on telly?

I'm in bed for the week after a minor op - please can you recommend me good telly or films?

I have Netflix and Prime, not Sky.

Don't like fantasy. Am enjoying The Stranger and also howling with laughter at This Country. Also loved crime docs eg The Staircase.

Please tell me what you've loved recently!

High fives to @otterses and @FaithInfinity

I love Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. I, too, am envious of the people who get to watch it first time round. I watched it all the way through twice last year Blush

I wish I could watch it more but I don't get time because I'm working hard in a New York job. I'm making dough but it's making me blue.

The news Room
the West Wing

ZeroFucks if you find yourself crying a lot you should move to West Covina..only two hours from the beach!

I’m currently binging Prison Break, never watched it back in the day, hooked now!

Derry Girls, Crazy Ex Girlfriend & This is Us

Uktvplay Brokenwood Mysteries, wryly funny murder mystery in NZ five series!

sniffysnifferson · 12/02/2020 22:42

Designated survivor on Netflix. I've just binged the whole 3 series whilst post op!

QueenofLouisiana · 12/02/2020 22:47

I came on to say The Stranger, but as you’re enjoying that already, try Safe. It’s also by Harlen Coben.

Get Britbox, loads of british shows & dramas, Cold Feet, Auf Wiedersehen Pet, Downton Abbey, lots of really old stuff as well.

Thank you all who recommended This Is Us - I am loving it!

And keeping tabs on this thread as there are so many brilliant suggestions.

PS Pale Horse on IPlayer is good too!
