Not much on that plate that's too unhealthy. If everything was battered and deep fried I could understand your concerns.
BTW I'm size 4-6 and you'd be horrified at the quantity and the amount of crap I eat in a day. Have you any idea how much exercise she takes, she may be like me and is run ragged all day.

Bumpinthenight · 03/02/2020 18:25

Sounds like she is doing slimming world.

All of that would be 'free food'.

Chesneyhawkes1 · 03/02/2020 18:27

I've done low carb. I was like a rake. I wasn't healthy though and I certainly wasn't fit.

I started running again and soon realised I needed carbs over a certain speed and distance.

Now I just eat normally again thank god

JosefKeller · 03/02/2020 18:27

House must stink

not just the house

DartmoorChef · 03/02/2020 18:28

Doesn't sound too unhealthy to me. Tomatoes.. Mushrooms.. Beans.. Eggs. All good nutritional food.

kingkuta · 03/02/2020 18:31

Well then it's obvious why she's thin then isn't it.

Not getting the point of this thread at all

PatellarTendonitis · 03/02/2020 18:32

So?

ruby2020 · 03/02/2020 18:34

Can we start using "SWIM" on mumsnet, in addition to DH, DP etc? Seems perfect for things like this 🙄

L0bstersLass · 03/02/2020 18:41

Someone I know can't spell or keep their nose out of other people's business...

WorraLiberty · 03/02/2020 18:43

God, this thread is like pulling teeth with a blunt tweezers.

Who are you talking about OP and why does it make you concerned?

BigPinkFlower · 03/02/2020 18:45

Worms

PickleMyPepper · 03/02/2020 18:51

Why does it concern you?
What difference does it make to your life? Or are you talking about yourself?

Confused
Fromage · 03/02/2020 18:56

I need more information before I can form an opinion on this.

You're concerned she'll have a heart attack. Is she

a) your partner
b) your evil MIL and you have your fingers crossed
c) someone from whom you stand to inherit a fortune, and you're pouring fresh lard into her coffee when her back is turned

or are you

d) her judgy friend
e) her butcher
f) her chicken and you're exhausted

I look forward to your reply.

MitziK · 03/02/2020 19:10

Meh. Nobody's going to get fat on 140 calories of egg, 376 of sausage, 30 calories of baked beans and 140 of bacon. The bite of bread might just about nudge it up to 700 kcals for the two meals.

There's no magic about it, she's just not eating enough.

Lardlizard · 03/02/2020 19:30

Yes it is slimming world and she’s very passionate about it, certain food are supposed to speed up the digestion process or something or actually make you lose weight
No desserts

OP posts:
MitziK · 03/02/2020 19:34

They're talking bollocks. It's purely eating fewer calories than she needs although at size 4 Slimming World should be telling her they aren't suitable

Fannia · 03/02/2020 19:55

On SW she could eat a lot more of she wanted. Fruit and veg is unlimited, many healthy foods are free depending on your plan, you can have measured amounts of bread and cereal and you have some allowance for treat foods. So this plan she is doing is more her own choice.

ruby2020 · 03/02/2020 20:22

So OP what exactly is your question?

Keepmewarm · 03/02/2020 20:29

Come on op! What is your point?

Not enough/too much/no variety?
Healthy/unhealthy?
Too big/too small?
You want to be her/you hate her?

BedraggledBlitz · 03/02/2020 21:03

That's a "free" meal in slimming world terms isn't it? So I guess it's possible. Hope she's not ill though, that's very little.

PickleMyPepper · 03/02/2020 21:26

Are you overweight and jealous? Are you concerned she has an eating disorder?

I really don't understand.

BarbaraofSeville · 03/02/2020 21:59

So apart from it being more processed meat than is healthy due to bowel cancer risk, it sounds perfectly healthy, if a bit repetitive.

But the risk of bowel cancer is still probably relatively low and less than the health problems like type 2 diabetes caused by excess sugar consumption and being overweight.

Plus if she's only eating two low to medium calorie meals a day, that explains why she is slim.
